Sleepless in Singapore
We spent the first two nights in a room above the main airconditioning unit. The noise was similiar to the continual hum of a jet plane. Next to the hotel air con unit was a lift which played a tune every time the door opened. In addition every door in the palce closed with a bang. We asked to be moved and were given another room without any fuss. However this time our room was on the courtyard side, where a number of restaurants are located. It is also a pedestrian throughfare. So unless you stayed up until all the restaurants closed you hand to put up with listening to the conversations and partying of the restaurant patrons.The lift in this part of the hotel did not play a tune on each floor but left the ground floor with a glang and bang. After midnight it sounded like someone dropping heavy chain in an empty 44 gallon drum. In twenty years of stop overs in Singapore this was without a doubt the worst. Four nights without sleep. On the whole everything about this hotel was noisy including the staff who would stand in the corridors and chat all hours of the night and early morning. The Hotel should look closely at double insulating the rooms.

Great Hotel with Excellent Service and accessibility.
A hotel like Albert Court is hard to come by. Reasonable pricing with great service and a shower room with bath tub!!!!!!!!!!!! therefore for a traveller who needs to have a tub in your room, Albert Court Hotel should be in one of your options.

I stayed here for the F1 Grand Prix. I was fine for my needs, little india is just accross the street and MRT station is close by. Also i could walk to the race in 20 minutes.

More than sufficient
I booked in to the Albert Court on the recommendation of a colleague in office. The reason for my arrival was that I was to attend a conference at Raffles Convention Center. Not only was the room quite nice (except for the damp patch on the carpet near the bathroom door), it was conveniently located near major shopping centers as well as the Raffles Convention Center. The staff was helpful when needed and I have no complaints. Regards, Dayan

Albert Court Singapore
I think this has been said before, if you want glass / stainless steel facades and fancy views over the city don't stay here. The hotel is not 5 star but the service is. The rooms are a little bit tired but I have always found the sheets and towels fresh and clean. Great location, lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. When the mrt station is finished everything will be so much closer. This was my third stay and will stay again next time in Singapore.

Great place in Little India
The hotel has a very nice facade and certainly adds to the Singapore experience. The inside of the hotel leaves a bit to be desired (a bit shabby), but for the price it is an excellent choice. Little India MRT Station is about a 4-minute walk away, and Little India itself is just across the street. Jamal and his staff are very helpful and courteous, not to mention friendly. I loved staying here.

good stay, good hotel
I stayed for two nights then extended for another night, It was very good hotel. The room a bit bigger than other 4 star hotels.
The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom in good condition and cleaned regularly. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Pleasant
The decor was warm and slightly luxe, was upgraded to the courtyard rooms. A bit dated, was greeted by a big CRT,don't expect to seem these anymore at least in non-budget hotels.
Minus points, not toothbrushes or umbrella in the room. Housekeeping comes way too early and woke me both mornings.

Great staff
The room was clean, my room was next to spa and motor was noisy at night. The staff could not have been more helpfull & friendly, was also in a great location and positioned in a pedestrian mall so no traffic noise, would stay again
