We stayed at the Carlton Hotel for two nights in April 2009.The clerk at the reception desk was quite helpful We booked for a triple room unfortunately we did not get a queen bed and a single bed for my son aged 14 as we requested,instead got three single bed .For a triple room I find it a bit smallish ,Bathroom ok .I must admit the breakfast is really great.Its a shame that we didn't have time to have a dip in the swimming pool which seemed so tempting may be next time.Great location for shopping.Would dearly recommend to stay at Carlton for that price.

We have stayed several times at the Carlton. We find it very convenient when shopping or eating, being a short distance from the Raffles Centre and by underground walkway to Sun City. We were welcomed back this time. The front desk is very efficient and the rooms comfortable and often with superb views. My feelings are that the price is increasing much faster than inflation, although we got a heavily discounted price. The new wing is not complete yet. We checked in at midnight for one night leaving on a midnight flight to the UK. Despite this I could only get a room extension to 3pm, which I thought was not generous since the hotel wasn't nearly full. E-mail is available in the rooms but very expensive especially when it is available at many places round the hotel for very little.

This is about my seventh stay at this hotel over the past two years. I love coming back to stay here, as it feels like home away from home. The foyer is spacious and always smells delightful, the staff are the most helpful I have ever encountered, housekeeping are friendly and prompt, the breakfast delicious and served promptly with a smile and the concierge cannot do enough to make the stay enjoyable. Wishing I was there now!

Good value for money (Singapore value!). Excellent location, clean & comfortable. There was supposed to be renovation happening whilst we were there, but we didn't hear anything. Hotel gave us a generous late check-out also. We will stay again.

the hotel location was perfect for my short stay in singapore.the hotel staff were very friendly and the hotel had a very good ambience. the onl draw back was there was no wireless internet in the rooms.

Some noise due to building work on new wing. Duty Manager changed our room to quieter area of hotel & allowed us to stay late on afternoon of departure

Nice hotel, attentive staff, good facilities and range of food. My only complaint is the S$ 1.00 per minute charge to use the Internet! (No wonder there were very few customers in the Business Centre.)
I can recommend this hotel to anyone.
