We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at the Carlton.
Nothing was too much trouble. The location was excellent - close to MRT and restaurants as well as shops. We shall definitely return.

The receptionists at the front desk sometimes can be really nasty. The room is acutally pretty nice, large and comfortable. If they can improve their check-in and check-out service, I would highly recommend this hotel for its nice location and spacial room.

The hotel is pretty good in general. The staff were nice and friendly. However, the hotel was not able to locate my reservation and it took 30 minutes for a simple check in. Breakfast spread was pretty good.

Had a great room on 22nd floor. Nice view. Beatiful and efficient business lounge with yummy appetizers. The service is curteous, and breakfasts are diverse and are in superb quality.
Good location, close to an MRT station (3 minutes walk), a few nice pubs, and great shopping malls. Overall very good value for money. I'd recommend!

Carlton Hotel is strategically located, only 5 leisurely minutes by foot from City Hall MRT Station. There is a big mall (Raffles City) right across the corner with a supermarket at the basement. There is also a Catholic church at the other corner (Cathedral of the Good Shepherd). Chijmes is at the opposite side of Bras Basah Road with lots of nice options. Nearest bus stop is also a couple of minutes away. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is the buffet breakfast. The food is not that great. I hope it can be improved in terms of taste. Also, I had to ask for toothbrush from Housekeeping since it was not readily available unlike in similar 4 star hotels in other countries. I found the hotel staff helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and will most likely stay there next time I'm in Singapore.

We required a hotel for a one night stop-over on the way home from Europe to Australia and we're glad we picked the Carlton. We found it to be reasonably priced and well located near an MRT station (City Hall)which gives easy access to the rest of the city. The staff were very helpful at all times. They allowed us to go to our room after presenting for check in at 9am - we only expected to be able to leave our bags to be told to come back later, but the opportunity to have a shower and a rest after a long flight was very much appreciated. Breakfast is outstanding with a very large array of foods.
