Pros: location very convenient.
Contras: Room ok for one single person like me. However too small for a couple.
Toilet does not flush well. There is a bathtube instead of a shower-cabin which is bath-tube is quite uncomfortable when you have your shower. Price/value too high.

Comfortable Stay

The hotel is in an excellent location. There are bus stops across the street and the subway (MRT) is just around the corner. Next door is a 7-Eleven shop. The breakfast buffet was very nice. There was a large selection of both Western and Asian foods. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating every request, no matter how trivial. The rooms are on the small side, but adequate. This was our first time in Singapore and considering the scarcity of land, probably most rooms are small compared to US stabdards.

good to stay for a short time!
Good location, near train station. Service was good. Food was just ok, but you can find nicer food at a nearby food court 24/7.
I just walked around and find swimming pool is quite small but quite clean, gyms room has just 2 equipment; a treadmill and a home-gyms set as in the photo of the gyms. It is quite smelly and very dirty in there.

This is a value for money hotel....
This is a value for money hotel. Its location is ideal for anyone that wants to do shopping as it is close to the start of Orchard St and a short walk to Sim Lim (for mobiles, cameras and laptops). Breakfast is provided however I would suggest that you go to Bread Talk and have it there instead. And if you want to get around, the MRT(rail) is nearby. This will get you around anywhere for very little.

The staff were friendly. Service was prompt and breakfast was good. Rooms were fine for what we needed. 5 minute walk to Dhoby Ghaut MRT. 7 Eleven and 2 food courts right next door. Excellent.

Overall this hotel was good place to...
Overall this hotel was good place to stay. There was a wireless internet and a local area network connections in my rooms free of charge, there was also a safe. The gym is very small only contains a bike, treadmill and very small weight thing. Close to Orchard Rd, MRT station Dhoby Ghaut about 5-10 min walk. Can also walk to Singapore Plaza. I got 2 ajoining rooms with 2 single beds in each. There was also this fold out sofa/bed thing to easily sleep another person. Its also next to 7 eleven and 2 food courts. Would stay again.

This hotel offers above average size rooms...
This hotel offers above average size rooms for Singapore. It is clean, well maintained and quiet, and the free Internet is a real plus. The lunch and dinner buffets are very good values. The fitness center is very poor. For some people, the location will be a problem as the closest MTR station is a 10 minute or so walk, but the bus stop is very close.

The city bayview hotel is relative good...
