the bed linen could have been better...
the bed linen could have been better but overall i think its a good hotel to stay...breakfast was the same for all the days i stayed there they should make it better...the TV was not working properly and the carpets were dirty but not smelly...but overall a good budget hotel to stay...very friendly staff....if u r staying for a few days i would advice you to take the tours from the hotel they are very convienient...

first of all i would like say that i chose this hotel because of the review made .i was looking for hotel near MTR and this hotel was one of them.
what i really like about the hotel is i like the staff at reception, they were friendly,helpful.i like the room its nice.breakfast is good
the location is fine ,5 mins walk to bugis station hotel was next to raffles hospital,intercontinental hotels ,shopping place r near by.and i could go by mtr or sbs bus to orchard road,clarkquay,cityhall its all connectingin one road
however -
the bathroom werent clean when we checked in.so this need to be improved.
if we did not stay in this hotel then we wouldnt know bugis street or explore this area.so its good, it was a good trip over all

We have enjoyed our stay in the Golden Landmark Hotel, as it is so close to a range of interesting sites, for example Arab Street and Bugis Village, where you can spend all day long just wandering around the markets, soaking in the atmosphere. The hotel is in a very safe and clean area of Singapore, and it offers a lot of excursions, for example the Night Safari Tour to the zoo is a must!!!
It's a brilliant hotel, that offers value for money, with good, clean facilities, and very friendly and efficient staff. We have stayed there seven times and we definetely recommend the hotel to anybody travelling to Singapore, and we will come back again, next time we are in Singapore!

Very nice hotel, with friendly staff and a fun swimming pool. It had everything I could imagine and was close to the MRT, but was one of the lower prices I found on the internet. Safe area of town.

The best thing about this hotel is...
The best thing about this hotel is that it is about 250 meters from The MRT Bugis. Also ideal for those travelling to/from Johor Bahru(malaysia border) bus terminal close by. Raffles Hospital next door if you need it.
Entrance of hotel is facing away from MRT exit so you have to walk around building or threw predominatly indian shopping complex with some shops burning incense.
Some people might feel unsafe due to number of ethnic indian people sleeping around the building and area during the day. Reminds you of a typical downtown with pan handlers sleeping on the sidewalk.
Reception: there are only 3 people there and half of them stand around like they are busy, but actually not doing anything. Doesn't seem like they want to check you in or out. Had to wait an extra hour to have them clean our room before check in.
Hallways have extremely dirty carpet, visibly black. Rooms are ok, but air conditioner was extremely cold, even after turning up above 30 Celius and turning off room electricity.
Breakfast was awful. I don't think you can even call it breakfast. It's not that hard to make, but I have never tasted anything worst. Soft greasy bacon and french toast.
Would rate this place 2.5 stars out of 5. Probably one of the closest place you can find near an MRT for this price. Good place if you want to be near MRT with no frills, for the same price I stayed at the Orchard Hotel, last year. A lot cleaner, a lot better breakfast, but 500 meters from Orchard MRT.
