We loved just about everything about this...
We loved just about everything about this hotel - if you want a taste of Singapore of a bygone era but with all modern amenities and at a reasonable price, this is the place to stay. The colonial style decorations, attentive service, brilliant breakfasts and afternoon tea by the pool made it a memorable visit. We highly recommend Goodwood Park and would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at the Goodwood many...
We have stayed at the Goodwood many times over 40 years. While much of it has been refurbished in modern leather in black/brown tonings this has lost the old tropical atmosphere and charm.The foyer is now austere and not welcoming Service was still very good but the breakfast buffet has deteriorated from the best in Singapore to just average

The hotel was beautiful, our deluxe room...
The hotel was beautiful, our deluxe room was spacious, very clean and smartly decorated. All staff were extremely polite and very attentive. Our stay was very enjoyable and would definitely stay there when we return to singapore.

The poolside area was really great to...
The poolside area was really great to come back to after the hussle and bussle of the city. And being able to walk from the doors of the suite straight to the pool even better! The access to Orchard Road is fantastic. Just far away enough to feel some peace, but close enough to stroll down in the evening. Breakfast was great, and the service staff in the breakfast room were particularly helpful and warm with the children, fetching them hot chocolate and helping them with their choices.

overall the location is good, but variety of the menu is limited. Bathrooms need attention. Staff and service are good.

Because of flight delays we lost our...
Because of flight delays we lost our first night but on phoning the hotel they were most accomadating when we arrived on the second evening ,the hotel is set in the most pleasent surroundings and very peaceful, i ordered room service for a plentiful meal in the evening, the staff were most kind ,pleasent and helpful people ,the bathroom was a bit short on in house toiletries but a wonderful breakfast and sadley a experience too short lived, we will aqain stay at the goodwood when passing through singapore,

Just had a five night stay at...
Just had a five night stay at the Goodwood with my wife and daughter it was an absolute joy and a pleasure to be in such a pleasant environment. The building was beautiful Staff and service second to none would thoroughly recommend. In particular the concierge was a real mine of information and a real asset to the hotel, well done Kelvin for making our stay a real pleasure.Only one thing to say in a negative light wireless internet should be free so as to attract business customers then the hotel would be the real deal. Thanks to all the staff of the Goodwood for making our stay like a fairy tale.

Although it looks like a heritage hotel...
Although it looks like a heritage hotel that is (literally) only the facade - a little bit of a disappointment if you are looking for something more than a very good motel. The common areas look five star but the room we had at least was looking a little tired. The room was average size - adequate but nothing special.

We loved our stay at Goodwood Park....
We loved our stay at Goodwood Park. The hotel has a strong colonial look and feel and is in a perfect location so close to Orchard Road. Our room was spacious and we loved the wardrobe and suitcase area outside the bathroom and separate from the bedroom. We felt the marble bathroom needed a towelrail and shower was over bath, so we only gave it 4 smiley faces rather than 5. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner on the verandah beside the main pool was quite reasonable for a 5 star hotel, and we enjoyed the pianoist on the grand piano in the foyer. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we've had. The second pool has a beautiful tropical setting. Just be aware there is no tour desk in the hotel, as there is in other hotels. Our stay was wonderful and we'll definitely return.
