Goodwood Review
Generally very good but some noise from adjoining rooms, coughing, plug rattling etc at unsocial hours. Better with separate shower rather than shower in the bath. Breakfast good and Thai Restaurant good if a little pricey.
overall im satisfied with the stay, the service in this hotel was really good. but the floor mat could be cleaner.
rooms a little bit old need a update in fashion and have kakelak in toilet when i come
Goodwood Park Hotel
We used this Hotel for a short stopover while travelling to Australia. The rooms were clean spacious and very pleasant. Two pools , surrounded by lush greenery were an oasis away from the hussle and bussle of city life. Location very close to the busy shopping area of Orchard Road, but a short taxi ride from most tourist destinations, also a short walk to the Singapore Airlines hop on hop off bus which is free if travelling on Singapore airlines or otherwise S$6. Can recommend the Afternoon Tea!!
Goodwood an excellent choice
A really excellent choice with wonderful staff and a room that was peaceful with the full use of two pools and a great ambience. WOuld definately do this again. Thanks Asia Rooms! :)
Nice and classic green hotel,smart and well trained staff . Close to orchard rd.,easy to go shopping.breakfast is very good.if you have time,try afternoon tea. Fitness room is quite small.few equipment. I love this hotel.

Great hotel with excellent. The reception staff (Ms Tan) lead us to the room. She took the initiative to arrange additional bed for my son. Great location, walking distance to orchard road.

With the hope of having a short nice gateway "stacation", I decided to give my husband a little surprise by booking one night at Goodwoodpark hotel where we had our first anniversary celebration. Unfortunately, the stay at the GoodwoodPark hotel was a bit disappointing.
First of all, the suite that we stayed in was in some kind of renovated HDB flat style and more worse the lift lobby was quite smelly. Though the place was not too far from the main hotel lobby, this kind of arrangment coupled with the non-exciting room does not give us a good first impression.
Secondly, we had a little dispute with the hotel staff over the breakfast time where I thought the hotel stay includes the buffet breakfast (in my opinion, this was kind of norm). Nevertheless, it turns out the hotel stay doesn't include the breakfast. We have to pay seperately for the buffet hotel. The funny thing is my confirmed email says "Studio Apartment Double Room sleeps 2 + 1 BreakfastNotIncluded". If the breakfast is not included, why you put "+1" there. So misleading!!

the hotel room would be perfect if they can clean the slimy looking moulded outside of the bathroom window!!! overall the staff are very friendly and helpful. the building itself is a marvellous piece of heritage and the way they maintain and preserve the building is deeply appreciated. the location is perfect...a quiet niche right off the bustling orchard road.

I spent 4 nights here as a single traveller, on a brief holiday and loved it.
The hotel has so much charm -it's clean, attractively renovated but does not have that glitzy and to my mind boring look and feel that big US chain hotels have.
My room was very large and light. I find that many hotel rooms can actually feel dark and depressing, especially when spending time on your own there but the room was lovely and light, with a comfortable arm chair and foot rest near the window which let in loads of natural light (no sun reducing screening on the windows that can affect the natural light).
The bed was a huge king (some may find it too hard). The room had wonderful, sliding shutter screens for covering the windows at night and for privacy.
It was the quietest hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. In addition to the shutters, the windows have double glazing. Also because it is not a large hotel, you do not have endless guests walking up and down the corridor nor doors slamming.
Location wise it is perfect -on Scotts Road, very close to Orchard Road (and the MRT) but not right on it, which is exactly what I was after. Taxis were always easily available from the hotel too.
All staff were genuinely polite and friendly.
The main pool in which I swam was clean and the pool area was also clean. There are not a lot of sun lounges but only once were they all full.(There is also a second pool). It is not the swankiest pool or pool area but I enjoyed their simplicity.
I only ate breakfast and one lunch there preferring to venture out for dinner. The food was very good. As you would expect the wine was expensive. As an Australian I baulked at paying nearly AU$20 for a glass of Australian wine!
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
