Really nice hotel with EXCELLENT staff. Very service minded. Rooms are a bit small. On our last stay we stayed at the Swisshotel Stanford and the rooms were twice the size. These bathrooms are better and although the pool area is smaller it's fine. Would definately stay here again.

The hotel was very convenient, clean,reasonably spacious...
The hotel was very convenient, clean,reasonably spacious and had great facilities. We had a swim in the pool-the water could have been a little cooler to refresh us. The breakfast was very varied and plenty of it. The only issue we had was we had requested a non- smoking twin room but a non-smoking room was not available when we arrived. My mother suffers from ashma but they could not find us another room. It did smell a little of smoke but not too bad.

very nice hotel with friendly staff in a great cental location. Breakfast buffet very good caters for all tastes. Would recommend and go again.

We spend 6 nights in a nicely...
We spend 6 nights in a nicely decorated room on 8th floor. The staff was very helpful and friendly, also the breakfast was very good. The hotel is located very central and close to MRT station "city hall", and the Raffles plaza and riverside are in walking distance. It is a bit expensive, but definitely worth it. We found nothing to complain about. Its a nice place to stay for business or shopping.

We have used this hotel many times...
We have used this hotel many times in last ten years and find its location and the overall quality of the hotel to be excellent. Have used others in Singapore, but always return to the Grand Plaza.We have used it on long stay holidays and short stay business trips.

I have stayed at this hotel during...
I have stayed at this hotel during 3 visits to Singapore over the last two years. It is very good value for business especially the excellent facilities, service and quality of room. The hotel is in one of the most centrally located addresses in Singapore with close proximity to transport, the CBD, Chinatown, Little India, Orchard Road and the arts precinct. The staff - from reception to restaurent, from concierge to housekeeping - are very polite and helpful. Highly recommended if the rates are within your budget.

Superior double room; stay 20 - 22...
Superior double room; stay 20 - 22 July; room size was reasonable, contemporary furnishing including a study desk that faced the center of the room, not a wall as usual. A a lone chair was uncomfortable however. The flat LCD TV and mini component stereo made for a smaller entertainment console which provided more open floor space. The bed was firm but comfortable enough. Carpeting was still fresh and the bathroom had a stone floor and separate shower stall. Nice amenities. Hallway reasonably bright and cheerful. Breakfast buffet had a nice variety of food items. We didn't use the other facilities such as the fitness center however. Location is great, a 10 minute walk to Raffles Center (and therefore the subway). The Peninsula Plaza is next door which includes a food court. Service was prompt and courteous. Our stay in Singapore was short but enjoyable because of this hotel. Highly recommended.

Good accommodation. Room a bit dated but clean and comfortable. There are cheaper hotels but this represented value for money and the location is excellent.
