The service was great. We were disappointed...
The service was great. We were disappointed that the cost to use the internet was so high. We decided not to use it in the hotel as we could go around the corner to the internet cafe and spend $1.50 instead of $29.00!The housekeeping and room service staff were great (although I can't fauld ANY of the staff as they were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast in the restaurant was very good and the staff there were helpful. Good value for money.

I could not fault the service cleanliness...
I could not fault the service cleanliness or the location of this hotel. The food in the buffet both for breakfast and evening meal was of high quality. The rooms are not the largest but very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but have all the services required. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and are courteous at all times.I would return to this hotel if in Singapore again.

My family and I stayed here from...
My family and I stayed here from 4-8 April. We love the location and the concept of resort-style living in the middle of the city, but as soon as we got of the hotel, we see the backdoors (read: garbage dump) of the establishments of the main street. (that's forgivable though) The location's great, near the City Hall MRT, a church and malls. Both rooms we booked were all clean.

Very friendly staff, made you feel most...
Very friendly staff, made you feel most welcomed. Room was a good size with lots of comfort and extra towels and pillows, looking over the pool on the 8th floor. Although the A/C was a bit noisey it did its job well. Breakfast was plentlyful with lots of varierty. Pool and gym area id great.

This was our first visit to the hotel which is very conveniently situated to everything and a short walk to the MRT.The service was very good and breakfast at the hotel was excellent.We would definitely stay again.

The Grand Plaza Park Hotel in Singapore...
The Grand Plaza Park Hotel in Singapore is first class in EVERY detail. From check-in to check-out and everything in between was an absolute pleasure. Booking via Asiarooms.com worked perfectly and Reception were expecting us with written spa offers and discounts ! The location of the hotel in Coleman Street is perfect for Boat Quay and the Marina Bay area. The nearest MRT station, City Hall, is just around the corner and a short walk. Without exception ALL the staff at this hotel were helpful, pleasant and obliging. We shall definitely stay here again..

this is the first time for me...
this is the first time for me to stay within the marina area and found it to be very convenient to most of my needs. city hall mrt, which practically puts you right in the middle of a shopping frenzy as it connects you to a number of shopping centers (suntec, raffles city, marina square and esplanade), is very near. while other places of interest like boat/clark quay and chinatown areas can easily be reached if you enjoy walking. access to orchard rd. and sentosa via the sprawling vivo city is no problem once you get to know your way around using the mrt. my stay at the grand plaza park royal certainly provided some pleasant surprises for me... and surely would have been made better if complimentary bottled water for guests be included to an already superb hotel facility/service.
