We have always enjoy staying in Grand Park City Hall because of the hotel service, the frendliness of the Staff and easy access to all the shops around the area.
Great location, great hotel
We were really impressed with this hotel. We took an upgrade to a Club Room when we booked in for $50SGD per night and we were not disappointed: bigger room on the top floor, bigger TV, free wireless and Internet from Club Lounge, access to Club Lounge and free happy hour cocktails and food.
The hotel had a lovely atmosphere. It felt personal and uncrowded. Staff were super friendly and the rooms were immaculately clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Pool was nice. Best of all, the hotel is in a great location close to mrt station.
I really can't fault it. We would stay again and will recommend it to our friends and family.

Hidden Gem
Altough the room was a little tired and airconditioner a bit noisey I had a throughly enjoyable stay, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, well located and would certainly stay here again.
A Very Pleasant Stay in a Great Location!
From the efficient and professional manners of Karen Tan in Reservations to the disarmingly kind and accommodating charm of Nordiana and the world-class enchanting beauty and friendly smiles of impossibly lovely Nur'Aina at the Front Desk -- and including the staff in Housekeeping, the spa, and breakfast restaurant -- the personnel here must surely rank among the tip-top in Asia! You'll be smiling, too! There is simply a lot to smile about here, really...
Of the rooms on the 9th (Club) floor, while nicely appointed, the ones I saw seem to harbor a musty smell that by the second day had me sneezing and wanting some relief. Nordiana graciously showed me another, but the same smell greeted us there -- and she agreed, and it made her want to sneeze as well! She had Housekeeping bring up a dehumidifier, and they ran it a couple hours, and it seemed to help. My stay was only 2 nights, so I was gone the next day. Short-term it might be okay. Long-term, it might be worth it to personally visit and check a given room before settling in...
However, though full, the environment seemed quiet, and restful sleep felt guaranteed. I liked it!
Since -- sadly -- the days of opulent rooms at bargain prices are definitely gone in Singapore, it is getting harder and harder to find value. Given the perfect location and flawless staff -- and far better Wi-Fi than most other spots in SE Asia -- this hotel is a great choice. I hope to return!

A nice central hotel with good facilities and easy access to shops and transport.
Very good service from staff
This is the first time i have used this hotel. Upon request for internet connection as i require due to my business even though i am on holiday, they have upgraded me to club room on the highest floor which is 10. View was ok ok but the room was nice. Toilet and shower area was small but otherwise clean and tidy.
Not bad At All
It was a birthday celebration, the room is able to accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. It's clean, furnished nicely and near to alot of shopping/eating outlets!
Lobby nice, but the room....
We stayed here during our trip to Asia.
While the lobby was very modern and clean, the room we staied was really run down, old and less than clean.
The toilet had also a bad smell, to the extent we requested it to be cleaned again, with not much success.
The hotel is ok. But that is it. If you are looking for a special hotel, this will most likely not be it.
