We stayed at the Marina Mandarin in October 2005, shortly after it re-opened following refurbishment. We had a fantastic week there from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The staff were without exception very friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a fantastic choice. We also particularly enjoyed the pool area. The staff there couldn't do enough for us.
The hotel's location is also good - not far from shopping malls and within walking distance of Boat Quay etc. When next in Singapore we will definitely stay again at the Marina Mandarin.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marina Mandarin Hotel. The staff were very helpful and courteous, and service was prompt. The complimentary breakfast offered a large variety of choices. We highly recommend this hotel which has easy access to all the connecting malls and the MRT.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and a real highlight. The location of the hotel is very good but it can be confusing finding your way in and out. The atrium is impressive and clearly inspired by Star Wars...
The fitness centre and swimming pool areas are both well maintained and staffed.
The only small faults: there was no balcony furniture and only one comfortable chair in a double room, the broadband internet access in the room is overpriced and really nowadays could be complimentary.
When we stayed (over Chinese New Year) there were more tourists than business travelers, but we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fairly decent hotel. Good location. They try to provide exceptional service with people waiting to greet you as you enter, but the 'guest services' counter is quite deceptive since the Reception is actually on the 4th level! In any case, the hotel is pretty standard. The TV channels are limited for a newly refurbished hotel, although the separate bath and shower is always a nice feature. They also have dual sinks in all rooms, which I have only seen in (bridal) suites before.

We stayed at the Marina Mandarin for 2 nights and we really loved this hotel. The staff was very professional. The location is very good. The rooms are not too big but they offer an excellent view of the city. We would recommend this hotel.
