The location of hotel is perfect very good for shopping and not too far from MRT station. On the first arrival no so impressive as trainner staff taking care check-in. What we expected is non-smoking room but we have got smoking room instead of that. After get in to the room it very smell, we walk down and ask for another room. We have requested for late check-out due to flight schedule, the answer from reservation center sound positive but not get through when we was there. Front line staff unfriendly, hard to smile exept staffs at resturant during breakfast. Rate overall for this hotel is average including value for money as well.

Dear sir,We enjoyed the central location of theHotel; being close to the shopping centre. The lobby area should be a 'no smoking' zone. It is discomforting sitting with people who indiscriminately smoke cigarettes.It was a clean hotel and its surrounding had a luxurious appearance.We were extremely disappointed that there was no tootbrush nor toothpaste for all our three days stay. We have travel extensively all over the world and every hotel including the three stars hotels provide these basic requirements, daily. We call the receptionist but was told that we have to buy them! We believe that the Le Meredien has to get this right! For a 4 star hotel not providing these basic requirements is an outrage.
A plus for the hotel was that it presented a piece of cake on my birthday.

Excellent poperty at very economical rates. Very centrally situated with very co-operative staff. Stayed with my family and had a truly great experience of the hotel and of Singapore. Will definitely visit again.

My partner and I and another friend decided to try the hotel due to the recommendation by the website I visited as well as the rating of the hotel seems to be quite good.
However when we arrived there, we were quite shocked to be informed that the hotel has no parking space of its own and not to mention that the only parking they have is valet and we had to pay for that. This is after we had driven a couple of hours from Malaysia.
Now, my partner was not amused by it and had a bit of an arguement with one of the manager's there. While we were trying to understand how a hotel can charge its guess for parking fees and not inform us of the parking situation, the manager had the audacity to say that we should then not park our car at the hotel. Now we were quite perplexed with the answer from a hotel manager as we wondered where does he expect us to park our car then. After my partner threatened to leave the hotel and ask for a refund, the manager decided to accomadate us by allowing us to park the car at the valet section with a certain amount of fees for the parking to be paid.
Room service was at a reasonable standard but housekeeping was quite sloopy in that even after we informed them to come up and clean our rooms, it was not done after we came back from evening outing.

With my wife I have enjoyed the comforts and outstanding service of The Le Meridien Orchard Singapore many times over the last 10 years. The cuisine in all restaurants is excellent, staff are friendly, courteous and extremely obliging. We hope to visit many more times in the years to come.

I treid a great number of BKK hotels over the years. Le Meridien Orchard has become my favourite one because of price value. It is an excellent and luxuroius place that can be recommended without any compromise.
