I had stayed at the Orchard Parad in the past and had good memories. We had a twin room that big enough for us to spread out our condiderable shopping, so we were pleased. To start with.
Our only comlaints being that who ever had cleaned the bathroom had neglected to notice the soiling down the side of the toilet, that was quite unsightly. Also,the bed covers, are obviously not cleaned between each guest either as we noticed a few freash stains that were a bit off putting. This wouldnt have been so bad except they are actually the doona covers, so whilst you have a sheet between you and the "unclean cover", you can't discard it like you could if it were a blanket. Both of these were fixed without fuss when we complained.
Apart from this we were very happy. Breakfast finished at a decent hour 1015, so you didnt feel you had to rush out of bed in the morning. The food choice was great, including individually cooked eggs or omlets.
The pool is clean, with an aboundance of towels available. And there is also an adequetely equiped gym.
The hotel is situated at the quite end of Orchard Parade, the main shopping street. Meaning peace and quite, wile only being a short walk away from the thick of things. The Subway is also a handy 2 minute walk, if you don't want to bother with taxis.
A bonus was as checkout was at 12:00, and we had a late flight they offered us a "shower room" free of charge prior to leaving for the airport.
I would definately recomend it to others.
