This hotel is ideally situated above a shopping centre and MRT station, just across the road from Raffles Hotel itself, and very central to all Singapore attractions.
The room was lovely, very nicely furnished, and large with a chaise longue, huge bed, desk area, balcony, and a lovely bathroom with two shower options, a normal shower head and a rainfall shower head.
The room and public areas were very clean, and the staff were attentive and very polite and helpful.
The only thing we thought would add to the experience would have been some chairs on the balcony, however as there were noisy building works going on under the balcony during our stay, we didn't spend much time on the balcony anyway (we could only hear the building works when the balcony door was open).
Don't miss drinks in the top floor bar at the Stamford Hotel next door - fabulous views across the city, and in the Long Bar at Raffles - mind you don't slip on the peanut shells!

We stayed here for one night only, to break the Melbourne/London journey. The reception was efficient, and we were very happy with the room. We didn't look at the pool,so can't comment on that, but I heard from another guest that the spa was excellent. Again, we didn't eat in the hotel, other than breakfast (in the deal) which was a plentiful imaginative buffet (even Chinese food if you could manage that for breakfast). The staff were as friendly as could be, but what made it for me was the "after-sale" service. Our onward flight was not until midnight, and despite normal check-out being at 1pm we were allowed the room until 3pm, and left our luggage at the hotel while we went shopping. We were subsequently given a key to a sort of executive lounge, with shower facilities, a TV, and refreshments. We paid US166 which I thought very reasonable. I had paid a similar amount to stay at the Carlton a few weeks earlier, and there is no comparison. I'll certainly use this hotel again.

Upon arriving after midnight (long flight from US), was informed NO WATER in the room during the early AM hours due to water maintenance. Since I was tired, I used the lobby restroom and went to sleep w/o a shower.
As I eyeballed the lovely bathroom with glass counter/sink, separate tub/shower (w/huge rainshower head) and ample Amrita spa tolietries, I noticed no washcloths, in any case, requested a washcloth, but was told the hotel doesn't have any (maybe this is an American thing only?), plus needed a TV remote (missing from room) to work the TV. I was impressed when the hotel had someone bring a remote promptly and instruct me on the usage, and after housekeeping service I noticed there were washcloths!
Good size room to walk around, down pillows, comfortable bed, soothing BOSE radio, TV with many channels to view, however the room rug could use a steam cleaning.
Breakfast buffet was a terrific selection of food to please any palette (juices, fruits, omlettes, hot dishes, dim sum, Indian, Japanese miso soup, an array of pastries), with prompt service to make sure your coffee is always filled.
Location is a definite plus with the MRT station located directly under the hotel.

Great hotel with very large rooms and plenty of space to relax. The pool area is excellent. It is just across the road from the famous Raffles Hotel and Long Bar. The staff are very attentive and will do all they can to make your stay comfortable. Will return to this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are well equipped and modern with a touch of luxury. The small touches such as a Bose CD player, ironing board, central panel to control lights, curtains etc and a fantastic shower all made it worth the price! The facilities and breakfast buffet were of a very high standard. Would certainly return!

We stayed here on a stop-over to Australia and it was the best hotel we experienced in our entire holiday.
We stayed in a high room in the south tower and the bathroom had to be seen to be believed - just fantastic.
Also location next to Raffles itself was ideal.
Would recommend highly and booking via Asia Rooms was without hitch.
We stayed in Raffles for 2 nights...
We stayed in Raffles for 2 nights on our way to Sydney. The location of the hotel could not have been better, we were a 2 min walk from the MTR station which took us to every area we wanted to visit. Incl. Orchard Rd, Chinatown, Little India and Chinese gardens. We didn't have time to use many facilities in the hotel apart from the pool which was good. The best thing for me was the breakfast. It was buffet style with everything from fruit to full english. It is all served by the pool and it's a great way to start the day! We would certainly go back.

This hotel was excellent in every way and I would stay there everytime possible. The only suggestion I would have is stay in the South Tower. Its a bit more expensive than then North Tower but the rooms are more designer in look and really add to the 'feel good' factor of staying there. The staff deserve a special mention as they go out of there way to help you and make your stay feel special. 11 out of 10!!
