We stayed in this hotel from the 18th - 21st January 2006. This hotel was lovely. The rooms were cosy and had TV, internet, tea making facilities etc. The hotel had 3 restaurants which were really good value for money. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to 3 points in the city. The City Buzz stop is across the road. Would stay at this hotel again.

We found River View good value for money, within walking distance in mild weather of Orchard Road, close to buses and with a lovely outdoor restaurant. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It made my first visit to Singapore a very pleasant and trouble-free experience. It would have been helpful if the internet had worked better in the room as this is a good idea.

It was a great stay and the staff were very helpful and curtious. Only issue I had was, as my of my flight schedule I landed at about 6 am and reached the hotel abot 7.00am. I did not get my room until about 10.30am. This was very tiring wait after a long journy. Though this was notified no arrangements were made to accomodate me.

Stayed on 10 June 2005. Booked standard rooms but given a deluxe rooms. This is trully a good 3 stars hotel. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is also clean. Although its location is not near MRT but there is bus shelter in front of the hotel and also opposite the hotel there is bus shelter which is passed by C2 tourist bus (which I used a lot) considered tourist bus stops near shopping centres without additional walk such as MRT (MRT station to shopping centres). Breakfast is also good for its class, definitely will stay at the River View hotel again.

Had a wonderful week at River View Hotel. Excellent service. Friendly. Excellent location for us and very good price. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Singapore.
