Disappointed
My allocated room ended up being a twin room. I rang reception to request a double. They said there was none available. The next night they rang at 10 pm to advise of a room was available!!
They rang the next day as well, but it was all too late.
The Senior Duty Manager had little customer service skills. Never looked you in the eye, just interested to do the paper work. Never asked if the stay was OK. His team of workers at reception appeared to be taught by him.
It is an aging hotel, and hard to compete with the newer hotels in looks - BUT they can gain competitive advantage if they provided superior service.
