The gym is extremely poorly equiped for the business traveller !
I have stayed at the hotel more than 30 times, and the service has declined over the years.
I was given a tiny room and when I complained that Iam frequent visotor to the Hotel they gave me a standard sized room .... with a leaking bathroom and wet floor !
My family and I love staying at this hotel cos it's so centrally located, beautiful entry, and the staff most helpful and polite. Buffet breakfast was delicious as usual. This was our fourth stay at the Royal Plaza on Scotts, Singapore and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
Very central, within walking distance to all the shopping centres. The service was excellent done by charming people. The room and hotel was very pleasant to stay in. We would certainly stay there again.
I have to say that I was quite desapointed. I have been told that the hotel has just been renovated but I have only find that only the lobby area has been under major renovation not the rooms!
I came here to find a fully renovated hotel...
The room smelled so badly when I first arrive that I asked to change. The carpet was really durty and in poor condition. The staff is good but the rooms need a real improvement. Even if the bathroom has beautiful marble the bath has this not comfortable shape and the door right in the middle when you get out of the shower. Too bad!
I will come back once you have finish the complete renovation.

The hotel lobby was very nice the room also ok but the bed is a little bit disappointed cos some of the spring also spoit and sleep on it feel not very convinent. the hotel overal is ok but the price is a high for budget travelers.
This was a business trip for a self employed person. The free broadband service in the room was just what I needed, the buffet breakfast set me up for the day and the free mini bar was an added bonus. The rate booked through Asia rooms was excellent value for money. If the same deal is available next time I am out - I wont look any further.
