Service and staff friendliness were good and...
Service and staff friendliness were good and hotel location in terms of proximity to food, shops and transport were ideal. The rooms although relatively clean and tidy are a bit tiny for the price paid and the small old TV lacked the international news and sports channels. The included breakfast was not really that appetising - a Thai rice soup (Tom Khow) would be a little more appropriate in the setting than funny franfurts (sausages) and baked beans.

The location is fantastic - right in...
The location is fantastic - right in the Bugis Junction shopping district and a short walk to the nearest MRT station. The location alone makes this hotel a very good deal. The hotel staff was also friendly and always willing to help. The only problem was cleanliness. The beds and shower area did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned since the last guest and the hallway and room had a mildly dank smell.

I booked for a triple sharing room...
I booked for a triple sharing room thinking that the room was big enough ( as seen in the website) to accommodate all three of us comfortably. We could hardly move as our baggages were already on the floor and there was practically no space to even walk around. One had to stay in his bed to allow the other to pass through going to or from the bathroom. There was also a pungent smell inside the room, probably coming from the carpet. Hallway is dimly lit and also narrow. But I must commend the courteous housekeeping and frontline staff for trying their best to accommodate some of our requests. Maybe I expected a lot from this hotel that claims to be "3-star" but my friends who are residents in Singapore and who also saw the room told me I could get a much better room with bigger twin beds in other hotels for the same or lower price than I paid. I suggest that they improve their facilities ( and their breakfast menu) for more value for money.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the...
I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Summerview Hotel and will definitely be back! The staff made check in and check out a breeze. The room is large, clean and quiet, and the hotel is in a wonderful location. I hope there is room at the hotel for my next trip to Singapore.

The room is so small without even...
The room is so small without even a window. There are stain on the bath tub, and the toilet was leaking, and we can hear the dripping noise the whole night when we slept.

At the first day, Room is facing...
At the first day, Room is facing the main street, so it is very noisy all the day and the opposite structure site create a lot of bang bang sound during the whole night. You can't really fall in sleep at this conditions. So we changed the rooms the other day. And then that room is quite small and dark and not worth the price that it charged us.

The rooms we were given does not...
The rooms we were given does not ve a window and the Hotel does not provide daily newspaper which does not cost much. Breakfast has very limited selection though its buffet style and the same throughout our week stay. Plus side is that there is a bus stop right oposite and MRT is 10-15mins walk away.

My family and i have had a...
My family and i have had a happy and spacious-relaxing accommodation and trip. Hotel and housekeeping staffs were willing to help and listen at all times. Our rooms were spacious and peacefully allocated to us as per our requests. Hotel breakfast was deliciously served with both Eastern and Western standards. Hotel close to amenities eg. Sim Lim Square, Bugis Junction, Suntec city, Singapore Flyer, Kuan Yin Temple, Indian Temple, etc.. Easy to catch public transport eg. buses, taxi, MRT trains, rickshaws (man pushed/cycled bikes), etc and/or by foot. We would have no hesitation to recommending this hotel to anybody. May Summerview Hotel's future guests have a tremendous and happy time with their bookings, like we did with ours. Best of wishes on your holidays.

Good location, short walking distance to Bugis...
Good location, short walking distance to Bugis Junction and street markets. Noise insulation was poor. A family had two rooms opposite ours and they spent the night walking between the rooms, so we can hear them opening and closing the door rather loudly (the door also squeaked).
