The service was good from room service staff.
the reception staff werent very helpfull or in formative. they seemed to be more keen to get back to their reading.
the music from the pub next door needs to be reduced , it went onto the wee hours some days .

I have stayed here a number of times staff very helpful and friendly,good value for money. Rooms are small and basic but very clean and everything works, love staying here in the midst of Little India

Madras Hotel was in a cool location in Little India.
There was nothing wrong with the hotel facilities, apart from the fact that the aircon only works when you put the hotel door card in, so takes time to kick in. Keep a blanket (in cupboard) -- next to the bed, you'll need it later.
Rooms were clean and tidy, shower was strong and hot, but the hotel is obviously a budget one. The two staff I met were friendly and helpful. Because it's on a street next to a few pubs it could be a bit noisy -- so probably not for people who want complete peace.
At $100 for a double room (two beds) per night, I'm not sure how well it compares value-wise with other budget hotels in Singapore, which is obviously more expensive to stay than say, Thailand or Indonesia. But considering dorm beds in most places are around Sing$25pp, it seems reasonable.

On entering we were greeted by a dirty cat litter tray next to the Reception Desk. The Rooms were disgusting. Stains on the ceiling. Window latch broken, so window would not secure. Have taken photos. Be careful, we're sure no one can physically vet these Hotels. We stayed in 4 booked through Asia Rooms and all but 1 were dreadful. The cost at $109 was a rip off.

The hotel is quite difficult to locate (Taxi driver also not very sure). The hotel to me is good except the air conditioner is poor, after an hour in service the room is still warm. Hopefully, the hotel management shall improve this short coming. Thank you. John Chang from Malaysia
For the price this was a great...
For the price this was a great hotel. Located near the MRT station and surrounded by plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping areas. The colourful area of Little India added extra character to the place.
It took about 20-25 minutes by taxi from the airport. The staff were very helpful. For a budget hotel I couldn't have asked for more!
