Great if you want a cheap room...
Great if you want a cheap room for overnight transiting and you are not fussy as long as the sheets are clean!

For a couple of years we stay here several times. It is good located not so far from city as well from Airport. The rooms are spacious enough and it is always clean. All staff was polite, friendly and helpfull.

This hotel is only have a tiny room, but if you compare to the room rate, I Think this hotel is very valueable to stay.
Room is clean, service is ok (very helpfull staff), bathroom is also clean. Air Conditioner is OK.
I think if I want take a budget travelling again, I'm absolutely repeat to stay in this hotel.

A good clean hotel that is fit...
A good clean hotel that is fit for the budget traveller. Fairly close to the MRT transport system which can link you directly to the airport or any of the major places in Singapore. In the red light district but I always felt safe and had no troubles at all. Very helpful staff.
You can't beat the price no matter...
You can't beat the price no matter what others says about how "shitty" the area is.
For me, I don't really think the area is bad or anything. Actually it's pretty interesting and you can have nice little walk to the Kallang metro Station. it's not that far and there's nice supermaket under the railway.
It's perfect for the budget travelers especially your flights arrives/leaves singapore very early or very late. It's close to the airport and you don't feel like you are wasting your money when you're checking in at 2AM.

This is a great value hotel in a city where accomodation is expensive.
The only negative is the location. Kallang is Singapore's red light district and at night there are lots of 'workers' wandering around and lots of people drinking alcohol on the street.

The hotel location actually very closed to teh Kallnag train station and easy to get bus and taxi.
I traveld with my family and 3 kids( 7,9 and 2 years old) ,where actually we expected the room were bigger with the extra bed, but the room was not big enough plus it was very difficult to put our suitcase on this type of room.
The hotel actually god for a couple or business traveler but if you have a family or kids like I do better to choose other hotel which has bigger room.
Ovearall, the hotel was nice, good and very helpful staff.
If I come back for a business I will stay in this hotel.
The people in the desk were not...
The people in the desk were not friendly, insisting that the check in time is 3pm not one minute earlier, the standard single room is very very small, I got a superior room across the street in hotel 6, for cheaper price and better view, also allowed me to check in about 12 O'clock, the only positive thing it is very clean. There are plenty of Vacancy around this area in July 2008.
