The room is very clean but small. Staff is polite. It is worth to stay in this hotel for this price in Singapore.

Fragrance Pearl hotel is an excellent value. Room somewhat small but clean and comfortable.
Close to beach. Cheap MRT to downtown and other areas. Cheap street food which is very good. Would certainly recommend.

For the price, the Fragrance - Pearl hotel in Singapore is perfectly fine. It is extremely basic, but practical and clean. Helpful and friendly staff, quite central and "interesting" location. It wouldn't cost much, though, for the owners to install a small reading lamp by the bed, some protrusions of a kind to hang things, and in the abscence of a fridge/min-bar, they should invest in an ice machine in the lobby. This would have jerked my grade up a couple of points.

This hotel is too basic. Just OK for spending short time with a nearby prostitute, but definitely not comfortable enough to stay overnight. Mattress covered with very uncomfortable plastic protection .Very basic bathroom, without bathtub. Not even a plug for electric shaver. No refrigerator, etc... It is cheap, clean, but not to recommand for People who need a minimum of comfort. The location is excellent and funny, but it seems that all hotels around have about the same standard therefore difficult to find a more comfortable place to stay in Geylang.

The room was clean but tiny. We didn't know however, that this hotel is in the Red Light District of Singapore and that rooms are let on an hourly basis. This hotel never sleeps - neither did we! We were here for three horrendous nights and then ran away to the quiet sanctuary of The Peninsula.

The only positive thing i can say...
The only positive thing i can say about the Fragrence Pearl hotel was that it was close to the airport. I did nt enjoy staying at the Fragrance Pearl hotel for the following reasons:
*The room was much smaller than the picture on the web site.
*You could hear other hotel guests coming and going all night long.
* I prefer to walk for exercise but the hotel is located in an area that i did not feel safe walking around in at night.
I'm glad i only had 1 night reserved at the Fragrance -Pearl hotel. I definitly would not stay there again or any hotel in that area.
