Exciting location budget hotel
Bathroom is ok, clean, staff is ok....fit for budget traveler

Room is pretty small and less cleanliness. The bed is not comfortable to sleep and sound proof is really bad.
Good Value Accommodation
The cheapest accommodation I managed to find in Singapore by a long way. I wasn't expecting much but I was surprised at the standard of the room. Both room and bathroom were very clean, bed comfy and staff very helpful. I had a late flight the next day and was able to store my luggage at no extra charge. Despite being outside the city centre, a taxi only cost about SGD 8-10 into the centre. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel and most are open into the early hours of the morning. On the down side, wifi wasn't free but only cost SGD 5 for a 2-hour block.

Short break in S'pore...
Stayed for one night at this hotel.
Good points:
Location(great,cheap food courts),reasonably clean,staff polite and helpful (they even allowed me to keep my baggage safe after the check out for the whole day as my departure was only at 11pm).
Good budget place to stay and would def go back.
Bad points: if only one...
it didn't bother me,but the Hotel is in the red light district,but it was perfectly ok and no problems at all.

Only stay here if you can't afford anything else
First room shown had stained linen, dirty floor, walls, as well "bits" all over the shower/toilet room floor. Second room was not as bad but the toilet was badly "stained" and more hair on the toilet/shower floor than I have ever seen in any hotel . I asked at check-out if there was 2 different parts of the hotel. Was told no - all rooms had recently been refit. If that is the case, having worked in hospitality the maintenance person should be immediately fired. Also suggest they start inspecting their own rooms before letting guests see them. TV did not look like it had been cleaned in over 20 years.

For Singapore, relatively inexpensive besides the S$30 charge for early check-in. A few extra dollars would give you a much better experience and location.

Missing reservation
Our stay at fragrance hotel crystal is quite nice, value for money as we say. We encounter our problem when we arrive at the place, the male receptionist told us the hotel is fully booked despite showing him our reservation/confirmation. It took us an hour before we gain entry. thanks but no thanks to very unaccomodating male receptionist!
Way overrated
Everything about this hotel is modest. It's very near the main road. Just take bus number 7 to the nearest MRT (kallang). Facilities wise, it's really equivalent to any 1 star hotel in Southeast Asia. Expect only basic necessities.

The hotel and room was exactly what I needed as was on a short stay.
I was quite surprised by the cleanliness and size of the room was
good and the airconditioning was great.
