Whilst the price is cheap, the overall quality of stay was diminished by the microscopic size of the room and facilities.
I will certainly not stay there again as the hotel does not suit my needs. Even as a retiree, I would have been better served with a separate bath-tub and a bigger room.

Room was very clean but didn't have a window! Staff were friendly enough but didn't go out of their way to help you, didn't even carry our bags up to our room or show us where it was. Very noisy also, people talking in the hallway until all hours and music in the corridor that seemed to be on all night. Not the most restful nights sleep. Air conditioning could only be set at 18c so we froze also.

i think it's quite cheap for the budget travelers, the surrounding of hotel is a little quiet and it is very good for a ramble. i'm appreciated that home service did the best with responsiblity for their works, especially, making everything tidy up and clean. But for buying something , it maybe takes 15-20 mins to nearly shopping mall or supermarket, it is not convenient for elderly.

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. We found the facilities very good and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very clean and the hotel personnel extremly polite and very helpful. We will certainly stay in this hotel during our next visit.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during Nove 2005, as a whole, I think this hotel is quite acceptable, rooms are small but very clean, the bathroom is also clean but it only provides a shower, after bathing, the whole bathroom will get wet. Although the MRT is not within walking distance, but it takes only 15 mins. to reach the central by taxi. If you are just looking for a clean place to sleep and don't expect luxury facilities, you may consider this hotel.

I stayed at the Fragrance - Joo Chiat hotel during transit. The flight back to USA is very early in the morning and I find this hotel that far from the airport. Pros : room is clean with free 2 glasses of drinking water and light snack. Cons : room is small, not within walking distance with train station (MRT), and room smells cigarette smoke.
