Dirty Smelly room
The room was small, cramped, the air conditioning was inadequate, the television did not work and their was no fridge.
This budget hotel was in the middle of the prostitute district with pimps sitting out the front while their girls were working inside the hotel. It was unsafe and very scary. The hotel room was extremely basic and very small. The airconditioning only worked when the key was in the control in the room which meant that the room was absolutely stifling after a hot and humid day and took ages to cool down and through the night was not as effective as was needed.
Good value but not good position
The hotel is in a more than 15 min walking street from every pubblic transport service.At day time is ok but at late night it isn't very good. That is not a fine quarter.But...it's chip..so!!

Actually feel confort to hotel location only the surrounding hotel not confort to go out in night whn i m alone if wanna go looking for dinner or something. but its nice so far nothing trouble with me thanks for helping n make my travel easier.

Our stay April 2-5,2010 is absolutely enjoyable.We dont have a hard time in looking for a food to eat,there's lot of food stall to choose from, the location is they called red district if you stay late in the evening, you will enjoy the night but if you enjoy shopping and sightseeing in Singapore you have no time to stay late.For budget travellers, the Hotel81 chain of hotels is highly recommended.
I just want to comment regarding the on line booking, if you made a mistake on the number of nights of your stay and you want to add the number of nights .You cannot contact them anymore, so what happened you can only avail of there discount for one day the succeeding nights is regular rates.

Room was tiny with hardly room to swing a cat. Would have been nice to have had a pillow cover instead of pillow protectors alone on the pillows. Another extra blanket would have been nice to have been available. Floors could have done with a vacuum as there were many long hairs visible on the ground which shows it hadnt been thoroughly swelt after the last guest. Reception staff were helpful and courteous. A very low budget room for the budget conscious traveller needing just a cheap room to bed down for the night.
