Hotel is fine, location is good, away...

Hotel is fine, location is good, away from the hussle and bussle, nice to be able to walk along the water front and thru the park that has been greated. Bed was very firm or overly firm, so big negative. Asia rooms website had advised that internet access would be included in the price for the nights accomodation, but when trying to log-on from the room you had to nominate the price you would pay, from $5/15mins up. reasonable access would add considerable to the price for the nights accomodation.

The room was small but very much...

The room was small but very much cozy and with its modern simple chic design makes us feels at home. The TV channels was not much channels to watch. The Bathroom facilities are nice but there's always water spills from the sides and makes the flooring wet after shower. The Top 8th floor swimming pool is overlook by the Changi seaview. When we check-in, I've requested for the Seaview even there is not available , and sweet Receptionist was trying her best to accomodate us with our special request , but we have to wait for one hour for the room available. The entire lobby and restaurant looks clean and well design. In fact Self laundry also available. My girls love the place so much that they want to come back for next school holidays. Overall, we received superb friendly staff . We have request for another one more additional day to stay under hotel rates which was much cheaper then we thought. We strongly recommended our friends and families for this hotel by the Changi village Beach overlook the seaview and Pulau Ubin. ;-)

my wife and i found the hotel...

my wife and i found the hotel very good.The reception sevice was good and,the staff very friendly.Because of the location of the hotel,it was very quiet indeed and, from our room we could hear nothing.We ate in the restaurant the evening we arrived and, the next morning for breakfast.The food was excellent and like most hotels you had a multi choice at breakfast.Again the restaurant staff were very polite and helpful.Our only complaint was that we booked a non smoking room which we were given,but someone had onviously been smoking in it.The hotel operates a shuttle bus to Changi airport which is useful for anyone just overnighting.We did the same only in reverse arriving from london and departing from Seletar aiport the next morning.I would reccomend this hotel to anyone.

It is not suitable for Muslims because...

It is not suitable for Muslims because it does not have Halal meat at all. It does not provide a free wireless internet. The breakfast has to be eaten in the restaurant lobby, not inside the room. The meals are too expensive. The menu of the food is mainly chinese so Arabs and Middle Easterners will not like it. It is located very far from the city and all the Singaporean attractions. THerefore, I do not recommend it to anyone.

I booked a room at this hotel...

I booked a room at this hotel and admit to making a mistake with the date... I booked for one night; 13th August, but my flight actually landed in the early hours of the 13th so I should have booked for the previous day. I own up... MY FAULT however the manager and receptionist was in no way helpful nor sympathetic!!! At 3.30am I arrived to be told I couldn't check-in until midday... I was very tired and asked to pay for a room; another night's stay. Even though they had a vacant room they would NOT sell it to me at a reduced rate. I was flying out later in the day so the night I had already paid for was of no use to me so they had the opportunity to sell it to someone else. I thought (as an already paid customer) they should at least offer me a discounted rate room for the few hours I had left to sleep. Singapore$150 is the rack rate and this is the only price they were prepared to offer me. So, even though I booked and paid for a night at this hotel, I didn't actually sleep there and WILL NEVER stay there due to the unobliging and unfriendly manner of the management and reception staff.

Hi Me and my husband had a great time in this hotel there is only one thing but not really a big deal. I sent inquiries thru email but apparently did not receive reply from them but still we enjoy our stay esp the buffet breakfast and also the staff were helpfullaccomodating Thank you very nuch and Best Regards Mrs. Bautista

Checked in for a staycation and was...

Checked in for a staycation and was greeted with a very nice roomy room. Excellent gym with suana, very nice rooftop pool with views of the sea along with a restaurant for your nightcap by the pool with a view. Great location for your day trips to Pulau Ubin or just walk around the village with the excellent food. Buy a bottle of hooch up from the liquor store at the village if you wish to have some privacy in your room. Buffet dinner was of value especially for guest, breakfast could have been much better, felt it didnt match the quality of dinner or of a hotel of it's class. They were nice to give us time to check out when we misinterpreted the check out time by two hours. Locking us out while in bathing suits were not the best way to let us know though.
