Overall for the price, the hotel was good with a good location, but, an employee who used to hang around the reception was the rudest person that I have come across in all of my travels and must be costing the hotel any repeat business as I wasn't the only person who was affected by his rudeness

The location of the hotel is near Orchard Road and the MRT station. This gives flexibility.
During our first stay, the room is old and the towels were not fresh.
I requested for a double bed but we were not granted. It was a good thing that we requested again so on our return trip from Saigon, a double bed was made available to us. This time the room is cleaner and the towels are fresher.
If you have problems, the staff are not too helpful.

I found the hotel clean and very basic. The positives were the location and price and the negatives were the lack of facilities like breakfast and the front desk could have been a little less serious and more friendly like the rest of Singapore. The cleaning lady and the guy who kept my luggage in the room were much more cordial. Overall I was happy and would not mind going back to stay there.

Oh and by the way, the location is very very ideal. It's near the Somerset Station. Near the Orchard Mall. Near the shopping center. Best of all, it's near the Hawker Alley. Great for budget travellers like us. We can have a dinner for S$5!
So far it's the most affordable place...
So far it's the most affordable place to stay when visiting Singapore. You can not avail the post facilites and amenities luxury hotels have. But hey, you only need a place to store your bags and spend the night.. well, sleep on. The lobby smells like Tiger Balm. And the towels are not that thick enough to absorb water. Bedsheets are not that clean enough. Tolerable.

My opinion is totally different. Admittedly the Supreme hotel is basic with little else other than rooms. But the room I stayed in was recently refurbished, spotlessly clean and with comfortable beds, a TV and a Fridge. The Bathroom was very clean and the whole place was clean exceptionally well each day, with fresh sheets and towels and the cleaning staff were very friendly. For a Hotel so close to Orchard Road it was at an exceptionally good price and I would not hesitate to go back there again.
