This is a fabulous boutique hotel in a great neighbourhood. Lots to see and do within a short walk. The regular rooms are very small, but wonderfully decorated. We ended up getting a free upgrade to a fabulous and large room with a skylight. The restaurant at the hotel is average, in terms of food (I'm a foodie) but the atmosphere is great.

I loved the Scarlet hotel. I am a regular traveler to singapore and will deffinantly return to this hotel. The rooms are small but very comfortable and cosy. A free broadband connection in the room was a big plus. The bed was really really comfortable. I have no complaints about the Scarlet hotel. Dinning was fantastic. The gym was great, and if it isnt too hot you can enjoy a spa outside which is really nice. Booking this hotel through asiarooms is real value for money. The staff are great, extremely helpful and very accomodating. A+++

2.Modern, but attractive and cosy restaurant style.
3. Well furnished rooms, but most of them no windows; aircon a bit noisy and directed onto the bed.

I fortunately got a great room. Initally my friend who paid the same price was shown one with a 3/4 bed-only a child sleeps in one of those. They then offered him one that was allocated for disabled people ( huge bathroom w bars and self flushing toilet which we loved!) at the same price-which he was happy with. Room service, bell hop and service in Desire(restaurant for breakfast) was faultless-great variety. Loved the over the top decor of the entire hotel-no detail left untouched. One night in Bold (bar) my friend (in the disabled room) and I were entertaining friends he left to go elsewhere and told me to split the tab between the two rooms which I asked barmaid to do-would'nt which annoyed me as she knew he was there. Even had her photograph taken w us! In the end I got the drinks bill and they tried to hit him up for extra $120 for disabled room-after a chat let him off-give him a decent room to start.
