good for a sleepover for one night transit i guess
The room has the smallest bathroom space i have ever come across with hardly any room to move when you take a shower. If you intend to spend few hours in the room, you will not like it as the room is too small and beds are hard.

I like this hotel because of easy transport one place to another and for cleanness and like friend and family..

Bed 'n Toilet
I guess I overestimated what one can get in Singapore for 138 Singapore dollars, or I underestimated prices versus quality here. This place, though in the heat of things, is no more than a short bed and a toilet around the corner. Though I'm short (1.70m) and I was alone, I had to lay a bit diagonally to prevent my feet from sticking out. The bathroom is even less to write home about, the shower is simply a shower head that will spray water against the wall when you close the door.
In the morning, many doors were slamming and people were talking loud through the narrow hallway that echoes.
I checked a few more branches of the Fragrance hotel chain and what they seem to have in common is very small rooms and this strange smell coming out of the aircons when you enter the space.
Admittingly, it's perhaps all my mistake, I'm used to Thai prices, where you get lovely guesthouse rooms for a fraction of the price.
The branches I saw in Geylang area aren't much better as they often serve as love hotels so they look depressing and the windows are sometimes closed.
Singapore, see you again when my budget is not tight.

during our booking, there was an offer of free wi-fi on the time we made our booking. but when we checked-in, the hotel denied it. I think there was a deception during our booking.
the hotel is only good for backpackers only. Not suitable for relaxation or holiday stay esp the design of the bathroom which is too small wherein the shower is within the toilet.

One night in Singapore
Hotel was clean easy to find and the best check in / check out. The room was very small and the toilet/ shower was hopelessly inadequate. But for the price paid is was definitely good value for money. I would stay again if I was only in Singapore on business for 1 night. Any longer and I could not stay there too small and only a breakfast restaurant.

I book this hotel 1 week before going to Singapore in December. For those travelers who only need a room to sleep/bath, the room is acceptable despite it is small in size. The pricing might be abit expensive for budget travelers. Other than that, the hotel is not a bad choice in terms of location wise. You can walk around 15mins to Bugis shopping area. The Dhoby Ghout MRT station is near by the hotel and easily travel to City area. But taxi is not allowed to drop by infront of the hotel as buses need to stopby there. Overall comment is ok.
Unfortunately, our booking was not forwarded to the hotel, so there was no booking as far as the hotel was concerned. It caused us so much delay and we had to settle for a small room due to room unavailability.

Decent Room to Sleep (Only)
The hotel is close to Little India, only 4 mins walking. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel which can take you to Sri Veeramakaliaman Temple & Mustafa Center easily. As an alternative route to the Singapore Zoo/Night Safari, you can take bus 166 from here to Ang Mo Kio terminal then switch to bus 138. Internet cafe, convenience stores and places to eat are within 5 minutes walking distance.
Breakfast was okay. The food was good. The servers will attend you in a 'quick and efficient' manner. Don't expect much service here. Sit. Eat. Go. :)

Hence, consider this hotel only as a place to crash after a long day of touring the city, which is exactly what we did.

We only stayed here one night so obviously we can't comment on room service, however i am glad we only stayed one night. The main downside is the size of the rooms. Obviously having got a massive discount from Asia rooms we weren't expecting a luxury room, but there wasn't even a wardrobe or a table. Even the bed was too short and we could barley move around it, we aren't exactly big people. Bathroom also tiny.
The staff at reception however were very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop pool is a bonus. Good location also!

The website claim there's complimentary parking, but please note that there are only 2 lots available on a first come first served basis. The hotel is not big, a total of 10 floors with a swimming pool at the 10th floor/rooftop and a small cafe at the 2nd floor.
I got the Executive Deluxe Room. The room was not big, but wasn't too small either. It is especially clean though the bathroom is very cramped. There are 2 bathrooms for this room type so one could be used for showering and the other for normal use. (Note: it is so small that when you shower the whole bathroom including the lavatory will be wet.) There is a wardrobe cupboard which is not noticeable at first glance cause it's the same colour as the wall. The walls are thin so whoever's walking/talking outside can be heard quite clearly in the room.
The nearest MRT station is at Little India(NE7) which is a few minutes walk away. So all in all, I would say the location is not bad, but the amenities are poor. It is recommended only is you're a budget traveller and not driving to Singapore.
