Good Location
Very convenient for one or two nights. Not a big room. but we were in transit.. Handy for eating as Lavender food court was opposite.
Close to Little India for shopping - short walk.

clean and neat, but the place not suitable for family with children whose travel by MRT
I travel with my family with 2 children under 6 and my mother.
The location more suitable for traveler who like to moving around by foot and with no children.
Location near Lavender (EW) and Farrer Park (NE) MRT station (10 minutes walking) very strategic
Breakfast not available so for the family with children isn't quite comfortable

the worst accommodation ever
I felt so disappointed about this hotel. It is located at the red-light area, where you find messy and noisy surroundings. The room is tiny, not even a table inside and only one power provided inside the room, which is not convenient if you have more than one device to charge. We even found ants on the floor, the bed is hard, the street is noisy and wont come back. One of the reception ladies was nice, but other guys are not very friendly.

Efficient for just city break and place to sleep, regarding the room size. Friendliness would be fair though.
Clean and affordable
Quite surprised with the quality of rooms and cleanliness offered. The size is reasonable for the value and the toilets were exceptionally clean, with basic toiletries all laid out properly. Even the hot water works well throughout the night.
The receptionist was friendly (contrary to some reviews) but could be better by wishing or smiling to customers as and when they pass-by. Nearby there were lots of eating places (good food) and pubs.
For travellers that intend to hang-around after checking-out, this hotel do provide provision for luggage storage at no cost. Very convenient if you want to have lunch or snacks before you head home.

Does the job
Nothing fancy but well located in Singapore with a short walk to Little India. Rooms are clean and as expected though are the usual small Singapore style. Newer than other Hotel 81 hotels.

Cabinet for clothes was missing.
Free drinking water and coffee/tea is ok but for an ISO certified hotel a mandatory service.
