cheap hotel near MRT station
just about 5 minutes walk from Lavender MRT station, cheap enough cost, healthy breakfast, hotel's staffs are quite friendly. But the hot water to wash was off . ,but it does no matter. There was a cleaning service room comes to every room to change towel, bedsheet, and give a new cup and coffe powder, but it's no problem if you dont want :p

Clean and reasonable value for money. Close to the MRT is the main reason I would stay here again.
Others are better
Rooms are tiny; mattresses rock hard with slippery plastic cover that sheds the sheet; two bath towels only; no in-room safe; 8 oz of free water pp only. These are the negatives about this hotel with some not previously mentioned in recent reviews. The staff was, however, very pleasant and helpful--a big plus!! For the same rate, one can stay at the Robertson Quay Hotel which is in a more active location, gives bottles of water, has in-room safe, all you can eat breakfast and somewhat bigger room. The staff was equally pleasant and we were allowed to get into the room early.
Didn't get the bedding configeration that I requested and agreed on during the booking. My two teenage daughters did not appreciate having to shard a double bed. Two twin beds were ordered.

This hotel is very good for the budget conscious traveler who only needs a place to sleep but does not want to compromise on service and comfort. It is very near the MRT station (about 200 meters) and bus stations so indeed it is very accessible and you save a lot on transportation being you don't need to hire a taxi to go places. The staff are very accommodating as well and very friendly. They assisted us all throughout from prebooking to check-out and even held our luggage for us after checkout since our flight does not leave till late and we wanted to explore the city some more without having to bring our luggage with us. In all this is an excellent hotel to stay in. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to take a vacation in Singapore.
