We stayed for one night only as...
We stayed for one night only as planned, the reception desk was efficient, but the room and bathroom was small, with a window overlooking a brick wall. Having no carpets made it a little noisy. We thought it expensive for the type of room but location for us, was good.
First room i had was below par...
First room i had was below par as it had leak in bathroom ceiling and there was problem with hot water....after 1 night I upgraded to an executive room which was far better. The location is great..just a block from the raffels hotel and close to raffels shopping centre and mtr. Also close to major museums and singapore river entertainment area and even china town is within walking distance.
The service was satisfactory and overall standards fine. Security maybe a small issue as entrance to lift is outside and access could be gained from back lane....although singapore is very safe so would not expect it to be big problem.

Pleasant surprise for the price. Perfect location, it's almost exactly in between Bugis Junction and City Hall Station of the MRT. Rooms are really clean.
