good hotel to stay and can recomend friends and families.
only coment on bath room.appricaite if you can cover bathing area. when you are having shower water goes in to the toilets area.

A Big Thankyou
Thankyou Hotel Sakura for looking after us. A very big thankyou to Patrick Tay for all his guidence
as we were very good at getting lost. Patrick maped out our daily routes for us and told us which
busses and trains to catch. Without his help we would never had made it.
Also thanks Meeleta, the lady office staff who I wish I had written down her correct name, for her friendliness. you and Patrick made us feel most welcome.
I hope someday we can return that honor.

The hotel is located at a better-than-expected...
The hotel is located at a better-than-expected area. 1-minute walk from the serene, chic and artistic Joo Chiat Place. The Nonya food at Chilli Padi (11 Joo Chiat Place) was simply wonderful! There's a nice old Chinese temple behind the hotel.
We came back at around midnight and the are was not as noisy as we thought.
It's a good 15 to 20-minute walk from Paya Lebar MTR. If you have luggage, catch a cab from the MTR to the hotel. Otherwise, it's a nice walk with many shops along the way.
It's only 5 to 6 stops from Expo and Changi Airport.
The room is small with little floor space besides the bed. There's a kettle, hair dryer, internet, TV, shower - the basic stuff. We asked and received 2 extra pillows!
If you just need a clean firm bed for a good quiet night's sleep, you can consider Hotel 81 - Sakura.
