Clean and convenient
Value Hotel Balestier is a very convenient hotel for the budget conscious. Its room was smaller than what I was expecting but they made up by the very good customer service. The location is also very convenient since it's directly beside Balestier towers bus station. We simply hopped a bus to where we wanted to go. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Awesome Stay At Value Balestier
Everytime I visit Singapore, Value hotel balestier always been my choice. The gateway is just at your doorstep. Nice location, near whampoa marker ( which is very awesome ), not so city like.
Clean and Easy
The hotel room is clean. Bus stop is just in front of the hotel. Very convenient. Also, a 24 hour convenient shop is just beside it. However, only one chinese chicken / duck rice / noodle restaurant nearby, the only choice when when it's rainy day.

Room Size and Noises
The (standard) room is too crammed with twin beds. The walls are too thin that noises from neighbouring rooms can be disrupting in late nights.
A nice place to stay in Singapore
It's a nice place to stay in Singapore. The access to go to other pleasant places was so easy. I can reach other place by bus, taxi or even by walk. I really recomended this place !!
It sucks. I will not go there again.
My main grudge with this hotel is the bathroom. There is no shower screen or curtain which means that when you are having a shower, the water spills everywhere on the toilet seat ,the vanity and as such renders the place extremely slippery if you don't wipe after your shower. The place can be noisy at night.
