This is my first stay at Ibis...
This is my first stay at Ibis Bencoleen and I will definitely return. The check-in & check-out counters are always busy but the wait is minimal. The breakfast spread is very good, The room is spacious and comfortable with modern amenities. The fridge appears to be more of a novelty - still it cools the drinks. Free internet is a bonus.
The location is excellent - you can almost sleep-walk to Sim Lim Square, Bugis St market and Bugis Junction. Buses to Orchard Road, Chinatown and Suntec City are frequent and easily accessible. Plenty of hawker food and convenient stores available nearby.
I hope the management will maintain the high standards for many years to come - and keep the rates reasonable at all times and not just during recessionary times.

- clean, nice staff.., even the coffee is ala Italian :)

Perfect location in terms of being a 5min walk to the MRT, buses at the door. Would have thought for the price a pool would be in the building - little disappointed about that as we could have spent just a little more and been in a hotel with pool. Everyone was lovely though and breakfast is great. My only complaint is that the safe in the room was tempermental and I didnt appreciate the early morning phone call with them pretending to care if everything was satisfactory but then try sell me a tour so early in the moning. Aside from that its perfect

There were some problems of the room facilities. (like air-condition, it emitted the warm air, can't adjust the room temparture, may be it is a new hotel, all these problems will be settled)
Simple breakfast, few choice.
As the new hotel, so cleanliness is OK.
No slippers provid.
The service is OK. The staff can settle the problem within 20 minutes.
