Happy Hotel is good choices for traveller
I'm think that this hotel is free-and-easy . Wirless Internet for free. Other Hotel will charge but this hotel is free, very good. The room was looks a little old ,but a nice place to stay. The rooms are bigger than normal hostels and near MRT . Reception were also friendly & accomodating. If I were come back Singapore, I will stay at Happy Hotel. Good
Cheap price but cheap quality
The room was clean enough but tiny and not in anyway appealing. The A/C worked fine and the shower had hot water, but the room was only slightly larger than a bed and the bathroom was 1 metre wide and 3 metres long.
If you just need a place to sleep, it's acceptable, but this hotel has nop amenities that would make you comfortable staying in for the afternoon or the evening.

cheap and basic
Not really worth the price
If you are just looking for a place to sleep, then you stay here. The Aircon is very noisy, the bed is old and sinking, no cabinet.
This budget hotel is really just designed for short timers, not recommended for long stays.
The free wifi of the advertised from the asiaroom website is not functioning, so you need to delete it!

not for everyone, but good enough for me
instead of me telling you this room was good or bad, here are some things i noted and you can decide for yourself it's worthwhile:
- room was barely large enough to fit my queen sized bed and bathroom very cramped
- located near MRT line and bus stops
- diverse food nearby
- lively atmosphere outside around the clock from what i experienced
- walls are thin so can be on the noisy side
- prostitution nearby
- door to bathroom had one hinge broken
- wifi signal was flakey
- customer service was friendly and helpful
- sink was slow to drain water
- tv reception mostly poor, but decent on 3 channels (sports, fox movie, & hbo)
- bedding looked clean and most of the room was too, but some dirty spots if you look for it
- plenty of lighting
- very hot and humid between the lobby downstairs and the door to my room, but A/C unit worked well
anyway, hope that's helpful. for what it's worth, i stayed there an extra night b/c most of the negative qualities didn't affect me.

great for budget travellers
Hotel facilities were good, the room was not that clean, looks a little old, but a nice place to stay for budget travellers. Not the cheapest in the place but the only one with Wifi in rooms. Reception were also friendly & accomodating. Place is safe to stay and rooms are bigger than normal hostels. Also a 5 min walk to the nearest MRT line going to the airport or Sentosa! :) Plus lots of convenience stores & eatery nearby!
One night was enough
Hotel is difficult to find because the address doesn't match the street signs and other nearby shops and hotels also don't know this hotel.
It was the cheapest hotel bookable via AsiaRooms, but still 4 times the price that I had paid the night before in Bangkok for an excellent hotel including free airport transfer.
After finally finding this hotel in Singapore's "red-light-district" check-in was easy, quick and effective. The room was not much bigger than the queen size bed. Walls dirty, but bedsheets, towels and bathroom acceptable. HBO movie channel was working well on the TV hanging in a metal frame from the ceiling. AC OK. 2 bottles of free mineral water provided.
The AsiaRoom's price of 50 Singapore dollars would also have been offered on walk-in basis. Many neighbouring hotels advertised 2 room rates, one for a whole day / night and another cheaper price for "transit" up to 2 hours. Everybody can imagine what that means........
