perfect city hotel
studio M was an excellent base for us whilst visiting Singapore and we would recommend and definitely use again. It was clean, well air conditioned, friendly helpful staff and a good pool area. the coffee shop on ground floor served excellent coffee and pastries perfect for a quick breakfast.

The room is so much smaller than we expected. Its just too small. Not as described in the net.
Poor customer service
We stayed 3 nights but everyday has something wrong. One day they took away the towels but they forgot to replace new one. Called them and they took very long time to delivery. The room is very small it is not suitable for couples or family. Maybe it is only good for single.
super loft room
The best loft room.. spacious as the bed is on the second floor and had to take a short stairs..very nice n amazing room I got...
Enjoyable Stay
Booked a Superior Loft Room for 6 nights. We had a very comfortable stay, The rooms are smallish but well designed and kind of fun.The hotel is ideally located for restaurants, but you really need to take a cab to get to the MRT (underground) cost about $5.00 off peek. Staff were friendly and the included breakfast and complementary 2 laundry items per day were a nice surprise when we checked in. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean and the wireless internet worked well all over the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to families with young children as the rooms and pool aren't very child friendly, but for couples or business the hotel is ideal.
With this unusual studio design of room, I went for the version with the bed on the upper mezzanine. Excellent bed and felt very cozy up there.
The lower area is very well laid out for a business person who may need to work in the room and of course the complimentary wifi (which was reasonably quick) was appreciated when many hotels nowadays seem to charge ridiculous amounts extra for something that should be a standard part of a room's facilities.
Robertson Quay which is adjacent to the hotel is full of excellent restaurants and does not have the brash "loudness" of neighbouring Clarke Quay. Those wanting the extra volume can take the 5 minute walk along the river.
All in all, a very good experience and I will definitely stay there again.

Niche hotel with small cosy loft rooms
Booked a Premier Loft room for a Friday night after reading abt the unique loft rooms. Was pleasantly informed during check-in that our room was upgraded to Executive Loft room, due to high occupancy.
The hotel had a minimalist feel to it, and the loft rooms were small but cosy. Suitable for couples or business travellers. Due to the tight space available, better to choose those rooms with the bed up on the loft, as the extremely small toilet & shower room at the lower level really take up a lot of space.
Location was good as it was near many night spots & not too far from the MRT/Subway.
The bed & pillows were very comfy, had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning.

It has been a great experience to visit Singapore. The staff at the Studio M are very friendly. The room are spotless and confortable.
