Overrated
Over-priced and over-rated 3 star hotel, lacking basic amenities - like soap and towels. The rooms are tiny. The breakfast is just terrible, you are better off (both money-wise and taste-wise) going down to the MTR station and buying breakfast there. The only positive is the location. The hotel is above the MTR station and is well connected both to the Airport and Orchard Road.
Location next to MRT - disappointed with housekeeping
I stayed 2 nights at hotel v lavender. Having left my room at 10am and returning for a break from sightseeing at 3pm, my room was still unattended. I called housekeeping and was assured that my room would be cleaned by 6pm. Upon returning to the hotel at 9pm exhausted, to my surprised the room was untouched.
I called housekeeping and at that point, all I wanted was fresh towels. It took over 20 mins and several repeated phone calls to housekeeping and front desk to be finally heard.
During my stay, the hotel appeared to be at full capacity if what looked like tour groups.

Handy Hotel
This Hotel is so handy to everything, MRT just underneath, also shops with food with various foods a bakery and Wend's Burgers etc. great local eating houses near by,
We did have a problem with one of the rooms but it was quickly rectified by Management and were given free breakfast vouchers for the whole family (something we did not expect) so, many thanks to the Management.
The hotel seemed to be very sound proof could not hear the TV from the rooms next door as you can in some hotels and as the rooms have tiles on the floor we could not hear the people above either, quality linen on the beds and so very clean in every aspect.

Great Budget Stay
Good for budget stay, I would rate this hotel a SGD$100-120 per night hotel. If its more than this range, it's not worth for the money. The room is clean and tidy but a bit small, no complain for a budget room. The bellboy or rather old uncle is unfriendly. The lift is pathetically slow, it will take about 30 mins in order to get in. Other than that, it's a good budget hotel. Will only return when the price is about SGD$100 per night.

A very new hotel built right on top of lavender mrt. Very convient in terms of public transport. Rooms are very new but on the small side. Some great eating areas about 10min walking. Lavendar food court nd Arab St.
Room is too small plus lousy lobby.
Poor hygenic condition
Location was great, however it is seen that the room is really dirty, the housekeeping services did not do their job well by considering the strains on the washroom and on the shelf (right next to the beds)
If it has cheaper rate, I don't mind staying again. But with SGD$150 per night, definitely a no-no.
