I might consider giving it a 2nd chance
I made my booking through Asiarooms.com but the hotel did not seem to have received the complete information. They only had me booked for one, when I had booked for 2 connecting rooms(specially requested during online booking). 2 hours after checking in then we realised it was 2 rooms side by side, not connecting. After some serious discussion they were able to finally accommodate us by getting us connecting room despite having said they were running at full house. Well, moral of the story...never be too scared to ask for what you need. My two young kids could not have been in a room on their own, I'm glad the Movenpick staff were able to understand our needs and I was very happy they found a solution, albeit 3 hours after checking in. Never the less, we had a lovely time in Sentosa. The hotel's location is ideal being next to Imbiah station. It was clean and comfortable. I wish I'd known it was still only during soft opening, however, which explained the lacking in quality for the f&b. So, perhaps when it is fully opened we may give it another try.
