Helpful staff
The staff was helpful in providing medical assistance to my wife who almost got heat stroke after a 3-hour walk around the hotel.
Delightful Stay
Was welcome by a warm smiling staff, and a complimentary scoop of Movenpick Signature Vanilla ice cream. And was helped to my room by this cheerful bell boy, explaining to me the utilities of the room. The hotel is just a stone throw away from Imbiah Station, so its easy to go to anywhere in Sentosa even to the neayby Vivio City. The clear glass pool in blue is beautiful, and breakfast spread is good as well. Definately will come back to this hotel for a short getaway.

I might consider giving it a 2nd chance
I made my booking through Asiarooms.com but the hotel did not seem to have received the complete information. They only had me booked for one, when I had booked for 2 connecting rooms(specially requested during online booking). 2 hours after checking in then we realised it was 2 rooms side by side, not connecting. After some serious discussion they were able to finally accommodate us by getting us connecting room despite having said they were running at full house. Well, moral of the story...never be too scared to ask for what you need. My two young kids could not have been in a room on their own, I'm glad the Movenpick staff were able to understand our needs and I was very happy they found a solution, albeit 3 hours after checking in. Never the less, we had a lovely time in Sentosa. The hotel's location is ideal being next to Imbiah station. It was clean and comfortable. I wish I'd known it was still only during soft opening, however, which explained the lacking in quality for the f&b. So, perhaps when it is fully opened we may give it another try.
Surprising Stay
I read from couple of travel sites recommending thumbs down for staying in this hotel - Moevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa, Singapore.
I beg to differ from their recommendation and instead gives thumbs up for this hotel.
My hubby and I had a short stay in this hotel over the weekend and we strongly recommend to anyone who wish to experience a good stay in Sentosa.
The hotel customer service was excellent. Front desk services was profressional, quick and very polite. They allowed us to check in at 11am (standard check in time is at 3pm). Hotel facilities are fabulous. Conceige services were fast and reliable.
Hotel room facilities are fabulous. I am usually very particular when it comes to the hotel facilities quality. Moevenpick hotel uses high quality materials and fixtures for their room, down to their towel and floor mat. (Yes, that is how particular I am).
The only area that I thought that could be improve slightly was that there were couple of small stains in the toilet. (and again, that is how particular I am)
Hotel location is superb ideal. It is located across the imbiah station (5 mins walk). A short stroll down from the Merlion and you will reach the Casino and Universal Stuido whereby you can have your meals, shopping and fun.
As a whole, I would stay in this hotel again and strongly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice hotel in Sentosa.
