Facilities
1. Location is very good for transportation (MRT, bus) and for lunch/dinner (Chinese restaurants)
2. TV is very poor for channels (a few channels only)
3. Air-con is not good. Turn on it but after 3 hours it began cool so my room is very hot a long time.

Both Good & Bad! See more....
I booked a delux room. The room was on the 3rd floor without window. This particular room is quite spacious and quiet when comparing with the Chinatown standard. (P.S., I have stayed at most hotels in Chinatown before. This one is my first time to stay at Eco Hotel, which was previously the "Dragon Inn", a horrible old hotel that gave me an impression that it was haunted!.)
One point worth to mention is that, the services various from very good to very bad! One young guy (I guess) was very helpful, courteous, friendly and cheerful! I can rate his working attitudes as 5-star. There was another young guy who was also good (but he did not have had served me this time.
However, the boss of this hotel, was extremely cool and unfriendly. Even if I say hi to him on my initiative, his "no responses" made me feel embarrassed and stuck. It seems that I am a hotel staff and he is cool guest!! (Roles reverted!!) I never heard one slightest "thank you" from him. The rare and "most friendly" response from him was slightly nodded his head when I returned and looked at him while waiting for the lift.

Great location, unreasonable request
The location was great, right in the next street of Chinatown. The Inn itself is quite old and the room we were given had broken bathroom door. The stafff gave us a big room considering there are the 3 of us, however they refuse to give us 3 bath towel, which is very disappointing. And the reason given was that the room was designed for 2 people. However when we booked the accomodation through Asiarooms, it clearly says one child allowed and I emailed the Inn separately to confirm their policy on the child and was given in writing to confirm it's fine for the child to stay. Yet when I turned up, was told we can only have 2 bath towels, which is ridiculous.
They don't clean the room unless you ask them to, and you have to hand them the room key. There're bottled water for the first night, and that was it. The windows were covered by wooden frame and locked as though it can't be opened (not that I attempted to open the window as it was dusty and old) and when you turn off the lights at night, it's pitch black. The air cond is really hard to work out and after freezing to death for the first night, we end up asking the reception how to use the remote, make sure you do.
Apart from the poor service received for bath towel and the old age of the hotel, everything else can be lived with. This was my first trip and I wanted to stay at a convenient location, but would definitely think twice for my next trip.

Good n clean hostel
The first time i wasn't expect so much for this hostel because the price so cheap and we got disc 30% from asiarooms (no breakfast, no towel). But when i and my family saw the room, we are so amazed. I booked dormitory 6 beds for 5 person because i wanna made the rooms looks like a private room. fyi I went with my mom, 2 brothers and my boyfriend.
The rooms isn't big but not small too, every room have own bathrooms and have hot water.
The beds and blankets is so comfortable. When the first came, we got trouble with aircon but the customer service was so helpfully. He called the mechanics and we could leave to looking around. When we back the night, the aircon start normally.
Over all, if i'm back to singapore then i will back to here again. Econ inn is recommended and the location so near with MRT chinatown so u can go anywhere u want and will not starving because near with restaurant. Sorry for my english ^^

The hotel is very near to MRT station. Around there can find a lot of the local food. Cleaning of the hotel is good.

Handy to MRT and shopping
We stayed in a family room, clean, spacious but very basic. Sinagpore hotels are very expensive compared to what you can get for your money in other Asian countries. It is fine if all you want is a bed for the night, no traffic noise and a hot shower at the end f a busy day.

Nice and quiet
Simply nice and clean, the mineral water and coffee are only free in the first night. No housekeeping was done on the second day. The TV is in the wrong position with regards to bed. Staffs were nice and friendly.

Good location, but small room
I stay on Eco Inn for 2 nights with my husband, it's a great location because it is very close with many restaurant (5 seconds walk), gift market, MRT, and also bus stop (2 minutes walk). I booked standard room, but the double bed is very small (size 53" x 80") for two person. There's no windows in my room, it's very small room and just have limited channel list in the LCD tv. But at least the room provide hot water in the bathroom.
