Excellent!!
So far, this is the best Hotel we have stayed at in Asia - location and standard of accommodation were excellent.
Good Comfortable Hotel
The Hotel is well located next to the river so walking very easy
Short taxi ride only to Orchard Road and shuttle bus available
Only negative was the breakfast buffet whic although closing at 10:30 had run out of fruit juice and bacon before 10:00am

Location
The only reason that I would not stop at this hotel again, is that I found that the location was not suitable. I wanted to be closer to the CBD as I am unable to walk very much any more.

second time at copthorne waterfront
we stayed here a few years ago, loved it..have stayed elsewhere since including at the beginning of this trip and this crystallized the thought we should just have come here straight off. Even numbered rooms have views straight down the river as far as the mandarin bay sands on the far side of the waterfront,a spectacular night time vista..breakfasts are substantial and outclass "complimentary breakfasts" in cheaper appearing premises.Its worth the fractional higher prices to have a proper breakfast..location is brilliant, a steady walk of 20 mins or so down the river will bring you to robertson quay,clarke quay and boat quay in succession...the numerous trendy bars/restaurants and cafes likely to slow you. Its scenic and feels very safe..even the underpasses...the rooms are spacious and airy and the beds very comfortable...no,next time we will just book here. only downside is drinks prices are ridiculously high especially soft drinks and coffee...better to make alternate arrangements !
It was a rather clean room and nice breakfast, but for the exorbitant price we would have expected something more fancy in the hotel , such as swimming pool facility / free wifi ( which is chargeable at SGD 28 p.day ) . We also would have found it to be convenient if there was an MRT station nearby. All in all its good but not worth the value of the price we paid where other cheaper hotels can also provide such services.

4 great days in a club room, Great staff and really good location to walk into town along river that has lots of great eateries.
Waterfront not so Grand
Enjoyed the hotel and its location was a new area for us but the waterfront turned out to be a muddy canal like stream rather than a main river .However we could walk to Robertson Quay where the Toby's estate specialist coffee house served up great coffee and great breakfasts . The hotel is a short walk to Great World City shopping mall. Our room was large clean and comfortable , bustling buffet breakfast typically overpriced and crowded .Concierge seemed to work long hours and was very helpful . The waterfront provided a pleasant walkscape and a more relaxed feel to our environs .
