Character
This small hotel is ideally located for anyone on a city break. The area has a lot character being little India, the mrt station is a five minute stroll. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room was tidy but small for the price, I suppose going buy rates in Singapore it was fair, I would consider staying here again as I had a pleasant stay!

Nice Little Hotel
A nice little hotel in little India. The room was clean and reminded me of a hotel in the colonial period. Check in and all other requests were handled courteously and promptly.

It feels like visiting a family's home
I wanted to see and experience Little India, reading through reviews on the net, I then chose Perak Hotel. It is a small hotel, well managed and has a homey feel. It's safe and quiet. The room small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. I felt i did not left home.
MRT, shops and dining all walking distance.
I had an unforgettable experience. I check in at 10am and after putting my luggage I sat in the dining room. After that I went browsing the area for 1 hour. Only then I realized that I left my wallet somewhere in the hotel. I rushed back and entering the hotel, the hotel Manager said that I left my wallet and it's safe with him. Ibu Siti the lady that takes care of the dining room found it. Just shows how caring the staff were.

Perak Hotel
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & found all saff to be professional yet fiendly when assisting us, We had some laundry done & were very happy with the service.
We were a little disappointed we had single beds for 3 nights, even though we had requested the Queen size when we booked, however we were told that it was subject to availability.
The breakfast was adequate but lacked imagination, especially since the food in Singapore is of a high standard, incredibly varied & tasty & wholesome, even for the cheaper eats ,e.g. the Hawker's Markets.
The staff were friendly & efficient & made our stay an enjoyable one.

Great Stay
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, so handy to everything, the hub bub of Little India, Bugis Street, Mustafa Centre, Mrt and Marina sands etc. Our room was small, but you pay for what you get and we were only there to sleep, also very clean. Front desk so helpful and told us where to eat and gave us his card so we could get discount at one eating house. Breakfast was good, read some other reviews and said breakfast was not that good, just loved the Kaya Jam. We would definately stay here again and pay a higher price for a bigger room, only too happy to do so. Well done Perak Hotel

Pleasant
The hotel made a mistake in my reservation as they did not follow the booking terms that was listed in Asia.rooms. It did cause me some grief and gave me a first bad impression of the hotel prior to arriving. The hotel itself was pleasant. It had all the necessary facilities with the needs of current times. Wi-fi was free, breakfast was sufficient to last you till lunch and they had a shower facilities to freshen up just before leaving for the airport(extra charge for that but it makes a big difference). Location is very central. you practically can get a bus to go to any of the popular tourist spots in Singapore within 10-15mins bus ride. The rooms are small and the toilet are smaller, reminds me of hotels in Europe.

Little Gem in Little India
The Perak Hotel is a little gem within the bustle of Little India. Our loft room was very spacious and reasonably quiet, despite having some sort of backpackers' pub nearby. It was very unusual for the kids to hear the muezzin calling for prayers in the evening.
Breakfast was a bit too basic and repetitive. We stayed three nights and we were offered basically the same brekkie every morning!
The location is another plus: the MRT station is very close, and Bugis food stalls are just a few minutes away. The loft room is fantastic for a family. Four air-conditioners and two TVs.

The hotel was very conveniently located close to all the central places. The staff were excellent, ready to help. However the breakfast was really basic and not vey good. We went out after the hotel breakfast to get some food from surrounding restaurants which were providing much better food at reasonable prices.

tiny and cozy
We enjoyed our one night stay, cute historic hotel. But our room was very very tiny. The queen bed was hard. The antique wooden floors were noisy- happened taht a small child ran the hall the floor above our room most of the night- very noisy!
Super location to Little India, Sim Lim, Bugis and other fun night spots. We enjoyed the neighborhood bars and friendly people.

Perak Hotel is very familiar!
I had a wonderful stay there. The room was a little tiny but being good enough for me (just one person). I guess with two there could have been an space trouble. But all the rest is wonderful: good caring hosts, next to a MRT station - just perfect for my stay.
