The Westin Chosun Beach Busan Hotel is great for those that want to enjoy staying on Haeundae beach. I had a great room facing the park. It was very comfortable and clean. The customer service is also excellent. I would recommend this hotel for those wanting to stay at the beach, but not for those who want to stay in the center of Busan. My main reason to visit Busan was to go to the JYJ concert, so the Westin Chosun Beach Busan was a little too far from the venue for me. However, it was wonderful just to see the scenery here. I really felt like I was on a vacation. Thank you again to the hotel staff for taking care of me during my stay!
High price
You pay for the name of Westin. The place is great, the people really friendly and the rooms are very clean, but average. The price you pay for the location. Whether this is necessary, you must decide.
We stayed here during a long holiday...
We stayed here during a long holiday weekend so expected it to be busy, it was Buddahs Birthday after all.
We arrived at the hotel and the car was valet parked, although it wasn't explained that we could have parked the car ourself and forgone the KRW10000 charge..never mind..remember next time.
The room we had was big enough for the 2 of us as it had a double and a single bed, unfortunately we didn't get a room overlooking the beach and had to make do with the park.
There were a lot of families staying here, due to the holiday and it was quite noisy at times...you could here the kids in the bath next door. Also as the "soju warriors" arrived back at their rooms at the end of the night, doors were not quietly closed.
We used the swimming pool, but unfortunately kids and adults alike were using the "swimming lane" to dive bomb and spoil the exercise.
The food for the seafood buffet dinner was great, but was a bit of a "free-for-all" once the doors opened.
The stay overall was enjoyable and would recommend other people to stay there.

Service was somewhat aloof. I requested a non-smoking room and didn't get one. Lots of families with loud kids when we were there (end of summer). Given the reputation of the hotel, I thought it'd be better.

The Westin Chosen Hotel was a great choice in Busan.
We has a fabulous view from our hotel room of the bay and free internet access in the lobby business centre. We ate dinner at the Irish Bar restaurant at the hotel. The food, service and wine list were great. The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced and of a high quality.
The Hotel is located on a little penisula which is very pretty. The hotel is right on the beach, it is a fair way from the airport (it took us about 30 minutes in a taxi at night). The staff were very helpful, most of them spoke good english.
I would definately recommend it to anyone I knew who wanted to stay in Busan.

The Westin Chosun in Pusan is simply...
The Westin Chosun in Pusan is simply great. The exucutive class rooms come with your own PC and he bathrooms, although small, are very nice, and an awesome view of Haeundae Beach. The staff here are friendly and the excutive rooms offers a great free breakfast including free snacks a drinks (beer, wine, etc..) from 6-8PM. Go for the excutive class room, its worth it.
