Good place to stay for shopping !
i would recommend this motel even you prefer a hotel, because of the service i received, first, manager speaks english which very helpful in korea, he goes out of his way to help you with your problem, in our case with our computer.very computer literate. the room is sound proof with 2 doors. so quiet and close to everything,train,big bazaar market 10 mins.walk, lotte dept. store 5mins., fish market!

Worth for money
Basically it's worth for money. The location was very strategy. Located at the center of the city. The staff are very helpful. If you ask, he'll provide you the map and tell you where to go around Busan. The room was big, well equipped with all the necessary facility. Internet is free as well.
friendly owner and was very helpful
First of all this is a love motel. But that will not deter me from recommending it to anybody even for a small family with children. In fact I see more tourists staying there than clandestine couples checking in for a quick thrill. The owner was very helpful and takes time to explain the surrounding area to us. For that kind of price its money well spent.

Extremely Helpful and Friendly
The most impressive part of this hotel was the service. Within 12 hours of booking I'd received a personal email with general directions (in English) and the promise to send more detailed ones if I wanted to provide my starting location. I found the hotel with relative ease and in under 20 minutes -amazing given my genreal directional sense. In addition, the staff speaking English waited until we arrived just to provide instructions about the room. Usually, the staff just hands you the key and let's you go at it. Instead, the staff took us to the room personally explained and demonstrated (in English) the room's features and universal remote system. This was literally the best staff help I've ever received in Korea. His English was very understandable and easy to understand. And later, when we decided to go out for dinner, he provided a detailed map of the area and gave recommendations (and directions) to a few local eating joints. The hotel was also next to Busan tower and within 5-10 minutes of other local highlights. Not on the beach, but it's very well located for shopping and other general touristing. Also very close to the subway:)
As for the price, it was a really good price. And the amenities included in it were pretty fantastic (sauna shower option, jacuzzi, huge flat screen TV, water cooler, computer with internet capability, and other common hotel amenities). For the price, it was amazing. Usually I'd have to pay twice the price for those amenities. The jaccuzzi looked like it could have used another scrub, but the whole room and bathorrom were a notch above general hotel cleaniness (as far as I've seen in Korea).
This is a love motel, so people with small children might not want to stay here--but for the average traveler, I'd say this is more of a bang for the buck, Especially with the service we received.

Fabulous Hotel!
My friend & I stayed at this hotel during a recent weekend visit to Busan. This was the second time I've stayed at this particular hotel. Just like the first visit, the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful with public transit/calling taxis. He even ordered a pizza for us one of the nights we stayed there (we don't speak enough Korean to do this on our own). His English is really good, and we had no problems communicating with him. The staff was prompt in bringing extra pillows, blankets, and towels upon our request. I'll be staying here the next time I visit Busan!
I thought the room was a good value for the money, considering every other hotel or motel in the area was overpriced. The manager is very helpful, friendly and spoke perfect english, which is a definite plus for English travelers.
I thought if the rooms were renovated this place would be perfect. I am more concerned with the outward appearance of a room, so that is why I would give it a 4 out of 5. But all other
aspects, especially customer service, price range, and quality of service I thought were excellant.
A Great experience
My friends and I loved our stay at the Elysee Motel. It's location was perfect, right near the center of Busan. The delux room we shared was awsome! The bed was huge (it held all three of us comfortably) the jacuzzi tub was especially great, as was the steam sauna shower. We got our money's worth and well beyond that. The room was clean and very safe, as well as quiet. It came with large TV, computer with internet access, fan, air conditioner, a water cooler for hot and cold water as well as 150 free movies to choose from while in our room. The black out option on our window was very nice as well. The owner was extremely helpful and speaks excellent English. He explained how the universal remote worked, provided us a map of the area with directions on how to get to the major markets (which are awsome) plus he watched our bags after we checked out because our train wasn't leaving for a while and even gave us a ride to Busan Station when we were heading home. Overall it was a great experience and I would reccommend it to anyone who wants to visit Busan.
