Great hotel
We got much more than expectation and highly recommend this hotel.
Novotel City Centre Daegu
Premier room booked as was stated slept 4. However had we not taken sleeping bags and sleeping mat with us our children would have had no bed linen, as apart from pillows, there was none spare in the room. Romm was clean and comfortable despite this and large enough for our family for a couple of nights. The dining room was fully booked out on our first night, and e were not advised of this at check in. Would have been nice to have been asked if we were making a reservation, or that none were available, we could have altered our plans a little earlier. Other than that, a pleasant stay and the city centre location is very convenient for the local entertainment area close by.

Great location, close to shopping arcades, subway, 2 convenience stores outside. Bus stop across street. Friendly staff. Expensive coffee lounge near check in counter. Buffet breakfast was included in room rate so good value, not as big as some buffets but more than adequate. Only downer there was no pool for the kids. And another point, had to show my confirmation to check in counter to get what I booked. Which was a deal with a room on the executive floor for 2 adults and 2 children ages 6 & 9, access to bar, gym + 4 breakfasts. Had to be quite insistent and hold my ground, because they didn't want to honour the deal. Complained to me that they did not like the way asia rooms operated. But I had to show them the confirmation and ALL wording to get what we had booked. Room was big enough for us all. Wouldn't be suitable for older children, would need two rooms then, as bedding was 2 huge beds and a lounge. So if you get a good package deal with asia rooms, hold your ground if you have everything in writing. Be very polite but persistent.
