Lovely Experience
We had a really great stay in this 6-star facility. There was a generous discount available, and so it was far cheaper than the Hilton. The only drawback I found was that there was no laundry service. I think the hotel is used mostly as a golf retreat for locals, and so laundry is not a priority. You have to know the language to get around, as not many people/staff can converse in English. In October, they do not have airconditioning, only heating - it was lucky I could open the windows to get some cool air. All in all with the discount, a fabulous location.

how is it possible that you are not able to adjust the room temperature even though there is a thermostat in the room? it was actually nicer to be standing the lobby than being inside the so called suite with a room temperature of 28.5C??? I called front desk several times to complain about the high temperature, but was told that since it's centrally controlled and outside was pretty cold (19C), there was no way to readjust it. Also I booked the most expensive room expecting to be a suite, and it turned out to be a room with a tv stand functioning as a room divider... There was one good thing about this room and that was the georgeous bathroom and a very spacious bathtub but the swanky rain shower was no that swanky afterall.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights. Service was very good: staff were friendly and happy to help. Our room was spacious and had everything we required. However the lobby is somewhat sterile, the restaurant lacks character. Some more western style dishes on the menu would be welcome.

It appears that this hotel's clientele are the top end Koreans. However, the fact that the staff made every effort in accommodating and communicating in English with us is a reflection of the their attitude quality. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean with wall to wall window with a panoramic view. While a little bit remote from the historical sites (it's a resort hotel after all), the ambience more than makes up for that.
