Looking for nice, clean accommodation, close to the airport, with friendly staff and reasonable rates? The hotel was just as described, and I booked it based upon the location, free shuttle to/fro airport, and the one review provided. This place both met and exceeded my expectations! Super fast service, lots of help, great quality/price, highly recommended--even for families! Read more for my detailed experience.
I was traveling with 2 children under 2, alone--so you can imagine the kind of special help & extra services I may have needed. Though I speak & understand Korean, the staff spoke English considerably well; from the driver, to the hotel clerk, and even the lady that served breakfast, I felt welcomed and was able to communicate freely with the staff. The driver not only helped me and my kids from the moment he met us at the gate/departure landing (inside the airport because it was a cold February evening--close to the information desk, which might I add, was helpful in calling the hotel for us) but the driver also took care of all the baggages, and played with my 2 y.o. son while I checked in. By the way, the ride was a comfortable 10-12 minutes back to the hotel. My bags were then delivered to my room, and the hotel clerk even ordered us Domino's pizza for dinner. Out of the blue, they gave us a cookie for my son and on request, extra milk that I needed for my kids!
The hotel room was excellent, just like the pictures: Clean bath (large jacuzzi-style with sauna/shower room), extra amenities, with 2 soft, plush beds, extra pillows, and even some room to breath, thanks to the high ceilings. The room included a large flat screen t.v. and remote, computer w/internet, sofa/table, air con, up to date room temp control & light panel, phone, and even a small fridge within the desk/table/clothing unit (a bit hard to find because it was behind a cabinet door, but you just have to check around). Extra features? The room key card was a nice touch: once you enter the room hallway, there's a key card slot which activates the room lights. No walking in the dark necessary! Also, if the room door is opened without taking the key card out of the slot, it acts like a security feature and an alarm buzzes: super idea for families with young kids so you don't have to worry about them leaving the room unnoticed! The only negative, if can be said, was that I had a bit of problem with the internet being slow and having to reboot the computer a few times: I'd say it's a few years old, and the computer programs were not quite up to date. but, we did have the option of using the English or Korean desktop feature at startup; good for people who don't understand or read Korean!
We needed to get up early for our flight the following morning, and got the wake up call right on time as requested. Breakfast was served buffet style. Plenty of tables and chairs, and we were able to take what we wanted back to the room. There was a mixture of Korean style food, mixed with Western--quite tasty and plenty of extra stuff to take for the kids to eat later.
Overall, for myself and the kids, the hotel gets a 10 out of 10. I'm not an avid traveler now because I have young kids, but this place really hit the spot: very convenient, close to area restaurants and a convenience store for snacks/supplies, and the hotel staff was really nice and helpful. Interior rather luxurious feeling, especially for the price and value! Highly recommended, top quality and service: you get more than you pay for, that's for sure.
