Wonderful experience
I booked this hotel for autumn red leaves viewing and Birthday celebration, it was very unforgotable, and the price is cheap, it only cost 100,000won
1) The location is stunning, it just need 5 mins walk to seoraksan park
2) The hotel upgraded my room for complimentary, the room is big, luxury, comfortable and clean, with a balcony that u can view the mountain in the room!
3) I went to the sky lounge for a drink (again, the price is reasonable, arround 10,000won per cocktail) at night, a staff play piano make it very romantic. My frd order me a saxophone birthday song, and the hotel free the drinks for my birthday! It was sweet.
It is totally a 5-stars hotel , I will come again if I go to seoraksan.

Friendly with good service and close to park entrance
Kensington stars hotel is located just a few hundred meters from the entrance gate to the Seorak national park. It is easy to get to the hotel (and the park) from Sokcho express bus terminal by local bus 7 or 7-1 (20-30 min journey), and the bus stop is outside the hotel just before the Seorak parking area where the last bus stop is. The hotel has an English feel to it with a lot of decoration in old English style and several of the hotel floors have different themes such as sports, movie stars etc. The room was clean and the personal staff was friendly and spoke English well. The room I had was a “classic style” with an “older style” of decoration but they have modern style as well. The room had LCD TV, mini bar with complimentary water bottles and free Wi-Fi with good speed, a bath tub with shower and Japanese style modern toilet. They also have a good breakfast buffet in the restaurant with a nice view overlooking the mountain range.
