The main advantage of this hotel is that it is located very centrally. It is quite near all the interesting sights in Seoul.
I booked two non-smoking rooms, one for my parents and another for myself, for two nights. One of the rooms smelt rather strongly of disinfectant, so I asked for a room change. The staff was happy to oblige, but the intended replacement smelt even more strongly of disinfectant, so we gave up on the idea. We also hated the dark brown decor, and the room did not seem very clean.
The breakfast service on the first morning was rather bad. There were too many guests in the hotel, the restaurant was too small and there was not enough staff, so we had to wait a bit. And when the food came, the coffee was missing from one of the breakfast options my father chose. Later, the staff apologised and sent us all complimentary coffee.
We stayed in this hotel before it became part of the Best Western chain, and it was a much better place then. The rooms were cleaner, and the decor was a pleasant light green. Sadly it seemed to have gone downhill after it joined the chain. The main problem does not seem to be with the staff, because they were friendly and tried to do as much as possible for the guests, but rather the management. They should enlarge the restaurant and employ more cleaning staff.

I booked a single non-smoking room for two nights. When I arrived, I found that the room smelt of cigarette smell, so I asked the staff to change rooms. The reception people were quite happy to do that, so at least I can say that the staff was helpful.
However, since the hotel was full, I had to change rooms again on the next night. The room on the second night had a central heating which kept turning itself off, and when it was on, it made a racket. I had to phone the reception at 05:00 in the morning on one occasion to re-activate the central heating. I feel that they should really overhaul their equipment. These problems, together with the depressingly dark decor, mean that I am rather reluctant to recommend this hotel, despite its very central location.

The location of the hotel was great. But,
the hotelitself was surounded by higher buildings, and was difficult to find. Probablly more detailed map of the hotel
would help for those who don't speak local
language well.

The location of the hotel is perfect for sightseeing and city centre but I got a room without window, it gives a claustrophobic feeling and looks like a love hotel.

We stayed a week in this hotel because of its central location. Using it as a base, it is very easy to access both Seoul itself and the outlying areas. That's the best thing about the hotel.
Otherwise, the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room was nothing special, quite poor, in fact, for the prices charged. A little small, and the carpets were filthy.
I would recommend this hotel to people who don't plan on spending a lot of time there. If you like the relaxing "hotel life", nice furniture, swimming pools etc., then it's not for you.
So, to sum up. Great central location, but you won't like to spend too much time there.

The hotel was very nice, clean, well situated and easy to find. The location was convenient to the bus lines and subway so our travels in Seoul were very easy. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a double room on the 12th floor but the internet connection didn't work so the hotel staff relocated us to a lower floor. The staff was very helpful and the facilities were very good. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a three star with good amenities at a good price. Overall the hotel was great.
