Old hotel needs demolition
The cappuccino in the lobby cafe cost $14 per cup and the breakfast in the Kings restaurant was not worth the money. It is really a three star hotel with five star prices.
Very good international hotel
Big, nice, clean and well located hotel.
Rooms are really wide with a lot of details; nespresso machine, light control, bathcloth.
Just stayed one night for transit so didn't experience everything.

I stayed at Ambassador with a friend for Ladies shopping weekend in Seoul. The hotel was very good for that purpose!! They offer shuttle service to 3 shopping locations, the underground station is also close with direct line to the palace museums. The area of hotel is quiet residential/university area, but there were a few restaurants nearby the station.
The service at the hotel was very good - we had requested a wrong type of room, but were given the room we wanted for 2 nights, when it was time to shift on the last night, front desk made all the arrangements, including bringing the new keys to the room and shifting the luggage.
The room is small'ish, but it was better functioning and equipped than the room at Ritz Carlton earlier. Rooms have nespresso machine with complementary coffee. Very nice touch. Small b'fast at lobby cafe was useful as well.
Great location with shuttle buses to main shopping areas and airport. One of the main stops for Seoul City Tour and great service. Room was clean and had a wonderful view of N Seoul Tower at Mt Namsan. Will be back !
Great stay!
We were very pleased with the service and the room we had. A professional team of hotel staff really made our stay stress free. Our room was very comfortable and when we asked for change of pillows, it was attended to immediately. When we asked for travel details around Seoul, the staff went out of their way to get us the right info. We would definitely return!
A good hotel
A good quality hotel, a bit pricey though. The buffet is very good and the restaurant staff friendly. However, the front desk manager was very rigid when it came to solve a minor issue and to make a commercial gesture.

A simple glitch in room reservations was solved in a few minutes.
Our needs were addressed right then and we were moved into another room in a few minutes.
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices and for guests who had an early flight, breakfast is available right at the lobby or could be ordered to the room.
The concierge was most helpful and even made us a map and a reservation.
I will definitely stay here again.

A Good Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during winter of 2010. We were there at he end of Dec 2010. We stayed there for 5 nights. The room was clean, spacious and fully equipped with all the modern amenities and connectivity needs. They have an Expresso Machine with 2 complimentary coffee cartridges each day. We loved having our Expressos in our room every morning before we leave for Breakfast.
Location is rather strategic as there's a Metro Subway station just a stone throw away. Around the hotel vicinity, there's plenty to explore too. Food outlets were within 5 mins walking distance. Between the Subway and the hotel, there are two 24hrs Convenient Stores to meet your everyday necessities. The Airport Limo Bus Service stop is just outside the Hotel. That makes arriving from and departing to the Airport very convenient.
The staffs are very attentive, helpful, cheerful and could speak English fluently. All the attractions are very accessible from the hotel using the Metro Subway Lines.
