The Dormy In is conveniently located in the center of Gangnam-ku, close to the Coex, just a short taxi drive to the shopping and business district. Coming from the airport it is easy to reach the hotel by airport limousine to Novotel which is on the other side of the street. To go back to the airport you can save 30 minutes of time when taking the bus from Amiga hotel instead, the last stop on the route in traffic-jammed Gangnam, also just a short taxi ride away from Dormy In.
The hotel itself is modern and looks very new. The rooms are most comfortable, 4-5 star standard. Free broadband internet access included, coffe maker. The kitchenette is convenient, however depends on whether a traveller likes this in a hotel room/apartment or not. Breakfast is rather limited compared to chain hotels, however good taste and a good variety of international food. The interior is modern and reminds you of a fusion restaurant. Dormy In´s staff are very kind, helpful, sufficient and speak good English. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to save a considerable amount of money over nearby Novotel, Ritz, Renaissance, Interconti etc. which I also all know very well. You just miss the "big hotel" atmosphere with their busy lounges and bars (just cross the street and you are there anyway). On the other hand service and standard at Dormy In are much better than at the older 3-4star hotels in the area. Real value-for-money!

I stay three nights in the hotel - it´s very modern styled - good materials,modern style with high comfort and silent air condition - room size ok - very clean - great view over Seoul! - breakfast buffet ok - stuff ok - nice spa with very good massage...! Shopping by feet around the hotel possible! Many European guests. High speed Internet. Subway station only 800 meters.
Advisable hotel. Would take it again!
